i watched FMA the movie a couple of days beofre and i'll join all of the other people here saying it's really a great movie that explained a lot of the series.
too bad there aren't any decent naruto episodes, just these damn fillers, but we have bleach to make up for that, let's all just hope that these fillers wil end soon (less than 20 more filler eps! hooray :-D

You are very welcome. Next pack should be up within the hour. I probably wont make it to do all the packs I planned before the end of 2005, but that shouldnt be a problem, that way you can keep your ratio cool (if needed) and that way I can seed everything longer (faster for you guys).

About the FMA Movie. How bad are the subs in the end? Way too bad or bearable? Will it mess things up. Will someone who has seen it please give some feedback. Thanks for the update.

The subs in the FMA movie are pretty messed up after about 120mins, but they fix themselves after a while

Yup, I'm watching it, final ep is being released in the beginning of January.
It's a good series and I hope you'll keep on watching it. And about the mushyness, you can relax, it's not getting to sugar-sweet.

Heh. For the first I've actually bothered to read through this whole darn thread. And I'm somewhat amazed about the series/movies you guys have missed. Or simply appalled, I'm not sure yet :hmmm:

. I'll just list them in the order I'm remembering them now:

FLCL (or FuriKuri)

Photon

3x3 Eyes (original and OVA)

Read or Die

Digi Charat

Vampire Hunter D (both movies)

There are others I'd recommend too, but I'm lazy (just ask and I'll happily list or PM them, though). And I know, these are all (pretty much) old ones, but I'd recommend them anyway.

Also, I don't get why some people are so hot on the anime version of some series, like Naruto, HxH, Berserk, etc. :huh:

I'll usually just stick with the manga.

PS! Ya, that Hellsing pic is hot.

All 3 of the above are from gainax.

- Now and Then, Here and There <- Kinda brutal, not for the faint of heart.

And Saikano has to be the most overrated "emotional" drama ever made. It's more like Saiteno.

FLCL is hardly anything I would call good.
Photon was nice enough, but not anywhere near my top 10
3x3 Eyes, same as above.
Digi Charat, can't say I have heard of that one.
Vampire Hunter D had it's flaws but was good enough entertainment.

FLCL is one of the top 5 anime of all time. The requirement for enjoying it however, is the turning off of all logic processes and lots of narcotics. I recommend good Dank.

There is no "story" to speak of, that doesn't take away from the sheer brilliance of it. Another thing being most of the jokes were for native Japanese speakers, as those jokes make no sense when translated to english.
