Usually it's anywhere from 4 - 12 months before a RAW gets out. Then it's a matter of hours before the speedsub groups and a matter of days before a good group fansubs it. Personally I recommend waiting for the Taka-THORA release. While the idea is fairly sound, given everything else that's happened previously it doesn't seem to add up. Maybe if he'd stolen Obito's other eye afterwards to gain access to his sharingan powers it would have made sense, but to claim Obito is the one leading the revolt just doesn't work. Maybe if Madara had completed the body swap technique Orochimaru was using he could have transferred to Obito's body and kept his own ideology, and would also explain why "Tobi" was pissed when Kabuto revived Madara's body from the grave Also remember Madara's words when he first appeared on the battlefield as an Edo Tensei http://www.mangareader.net/naruto/560/2 "This is something he would do... there's probably a reason behind all this..." They throw that out there all the time in Shippuden, Naruto becoming faster than Minato, Ina-Shika-Cho formation the strongest one yet etc. For Tobi to not be an older character is disappointing considering everything they keep saying. And when did Obito get "killed"? Oh, during the THIRD world war. I guess Tobi could have been lying, but what sense would that make? When Tobi fought Konan with the paper tags, he had to use Izanagi, and explained only those with Uchiha AND Senju chakra could activate it. Tobi has a large interest in Sasuke despite the continued risk of Sasuke being able to ruin him. Juugo and Suigetsu found Orochimaru's scroll that has an important role and can change the outcome of the war, and after giving it to Sasuke he revives Orochimaru as "the one who knows everything" and decides he wants to meet someone while having flash backs of his parents. Only one other person has the regenerative knowledge, the liquid thingy, knowledge of Senju cells and implanting them in people, creepy Sasuke obsession, and the ability to move to and take over other peoples bodies. That's Orochimaru. I get the feeling he did some experiment trying to use or obtain the Sharingan from Obito's body and Tobi was the end result. Tobi was eventually able to escape the using the scroll and travelled back in time (as the time travel stuff is somehow linked to the Sharingan which is why Orochimaru isn't able to use it). The Uchiha wouldn't listen to his warnings about the things to come in the future or his plans to take over Konoha and threw him out, like Madara was previously, hence Tobi taking his name for a while. This fills him with rage and makes him want everyone to listen to him, and so the Moons eye plan is made. The only part of Obito that remains is the Tsukomi he can use, and the funny voice Tobi used when he first introduced himself to Akatsuki and worked with Deidara Orochimaru is possibly the most dangerous person to Tobi at the moment aside from Kakashi who shares his eye, and i'm almost certain Tobi and Orochimaru are linked in a big way Edit: Lastly, how many main villians are going to come from Konoha? Madara, Orochimaru, Tobi/Obito, Itachi, Sasuke. The only villian who hasn't been from Konoha is Pain, and which countries Shinobi killed his parents, and also trained him to be a ninja again? Pretty far ahead. Like 20-30 episode at least in the anime. Somewhere around chapter 536. It's currently at 599. Garden of Sinners, 7 OVA's, pretty good imo. Samurai Champloo, Mugen is about 196% awesome. But there's a fair bit of soft comedic moments, still loads of killin' though. Mnemosyne ... different in it's own way. Torture, murder, intrigue spanning a 1000 years. However, the closest to total badassery might be Shigurui.
