I've started watching Neon Genesis Evangelion... and I've got last two episodes left and then the "End of Evangelion"... but, damn, I'm scared. I read on Wiki that the last two episodes are fucked up beyond belief and aren't at all like the rest of the series. :-/

So, I'm kind of torn: watch it, and then consider the entire thing crap (due to some shitty ending) or leave it where it is, and remember it as a pretty good series with no end? :hmmm:

Thats how Gungrave is to me, there is a mafioso-period in it that is absolutely awesome, but the rest of it is utter crap.

Watched Darker than Black over the holidays-ish. Pretty cool. I did like s1 better than s2 but I still liked s2.
Before that I started watching D.Gray-Man, saw about 15-20 eps. Wasn't really that good imo. Will it get better?

Not a big fan of Evangelion my self. But yeah the ending is beyond fucked up.

Well, I've watched the whole thing.

I actually LIKED the last two episodes. The only thing that really bugged me was that they clearly ran out of budget or time (or both?) at some part in the last episode. Otherwise, I enjoyed them. The battles of the series were impressive and fun to watch up to that point (I can see why someone watching it for the battles would be pissed off), but I equally enjoyed the psychological struggles of the main characters, and while the last two episodes are pretty weird in their own right, at least they stay consistent with what we've learned so far. It might not be the most perfect of conclusions, but I found it to be "good enough".

The End of Evangelion on the other hand... Eugh. I had the impression that it was made by someone who watched a single episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion with the sound off, not having a clue as to what was going on, and just mashed the concepts and images into an incoherent mess.

Sure, it was visually impressive, but I was no longer watching the same series, much less the same characters. And as such, the whole thing was just babble smeared with symbols without meaning. The fact that is was fucked up ON TOP of all the above doesn't help either.

If you don't read the manga, you are in for a real threat. Naruto has never been this good.

This is great news! I didn't know this. I keep track of spoilers on Bleach, Naruto and OP by your superawesome filler/story labels! But I will watch it immediately!

Sounds great about the manga. How long do you think they will be able go with the show? What I mean is: how long until fillers again? Hard to estimate I'm sure, but a guess?
