No reason to bother with IRC when there is Nyaatorrents.
Sure the newest episodes don't get uploaded there right away, but it doesn't take long before they are and it's the same quality as if downloading from IRC, without having to download a whole new program, set up the client and so on.
It's also fast and free on Nyaatorrents.

I'm not saying it's of lower quality to torrent the files, just that there are other options when nyaa is down. Like it was a few days ago. If IRC isn't your bag, no worries. Works fine for me to d/l and install a 7MB file to enable free leeching within seconds of release.
Also I mentioned DDL links that are on most sites, like gg fansubs for instance and horriblesubs both offer ddl on their webpages.

Groups  like GG, Commie, SWF generally use nyaatorrents for their torrents and have DDL sorted later. While i'm not a big DDL user either since i dont want to pay for sites like megaupload just to get better speeds. Also i'm not big on using IRC so i dont bother.

Bleach and Fairytail are worth paying for. I can hook you up with a free premium pass  if you want to see them on Crunchy.

I agree, but I like actually being able to download them not just watch them. I merely wondered why they are not on torrent bytes for the last couple of weeks. They are normally put up right after they are aired.

Ok. Think I will give a couple of episodes a go tonight. Might also try another couple of eps of Guilty Crown. I've seen 3 eps but I was not impressed.

Kinda getting in to the new Bleach, could be kinda cool. However the story feel "small" compared to the last one if that makes sense? Atleast so far it's like it's one little neighborhood dude thats makings some trouble...

It's funny you should mention that it feels 'small'. I assume you don't read the manga, which is fine, but it's worth noting that it feels 'small' because it's a mini-arc before the next big arc. Soul Society Arc, Hueco Mundo Arc, Turn back the Pendulum ultra-mini Arc, Fake Karakura Town Arc and now it's the Lost Shinigami Arc. I realise there are others, but these are the arcs that are canon to the manga.
There are a few fans, myself included, that like to think of the battles between Aizen and Uruhara/Isshin/Yorouchi/Gin/Ichigo make up another arc called the 'Deicide Arc' since there was like 24 chapters of manga called Deicide -> Deicide 23. This Deicide arc starts with Isshin's arrival in Fake Karakura Town and ends with Aizen being defeated by Ichigo's use of Mugetsu.

It's the remake from this year. I am enjoying it so far, you probably will too.

Yeah so am i. I find it somewhat better since it's dealing with the story the same way as Fairy Tail. Not draging it's feet with some sceenes.

Hunter x Hunter better be good and 'speedy' since there's nearly 350 chapters of manga they can produce into episodes. The trouble with the big 4, One Piece/Naruto/Fairy Tale/Bleach is that the production companies have all caught up with the manga. Seeing as how there's 20 pages of manga per week, minus weeks for holidays and the mangakas taking time off (One Piece's Eiichiro Oda seems to go on personal break every 4-6 weeks) means the production companies have to come up with filler too often once they catch up to the manga. Anyways, HxH should be good for over a year, maybe 2 if they do it right.

OP still has about 30 chapters left untill it's caught up with it. They've managed to do a really good job with the anime.
As for the others. Not so good. I do like Fairytails style but yeah it's progressing really fast.

I feel like that Naruto is falling quite far behind now. They are producing too much fillers imo.. OP is doing fine though even though Oda goes on a break every now and then.

One Piece is in a class of it's own. Some chapters have more dialogue than action, and most have just as much dialogue, character developement and story telling as they do action. Some episodes of OP are only one chapter of manga since it takes a whole episode to really put across what happened in the chapter. Incidentally it's almost 40 chapters since they just did ½ of Chp 606 and the manga is up to Chp 648 at the moment.

I'm not really worried about filler in OP any way. If they take in the guys that did strong world then it's going to be awesome

Would you believe that the latest installment of One Piece, episode 526, only produced 14 pages of manga for that whole episode? Only thing that dragged in the episode was
the kraken running away from the explosion
.

#1446801 by Snuffsis (Power User) at 2011-12-04 21:40:55 (1 year ago) - [Quote] - [Report]Top

It's a lot better that they drag out the episodes like that, so we don't have to suffer from having awful fillers that just ruin the story.
