iam
looking for an anime:
probably aired about 2 years ago ~

what i remember :

mechs (on wheel/s)
the environment was post-apocalyptic destroyed city (there were bits and pieces of highways / bridges standing out [also seen in the intro/outtro] )

the mech stuff was made using the usual 3d-cellshading i think -rest was drawen/2D

the visuals were somewhat stylized (not so-so-realism´ish like GITS or FMP)

thanks

Maybe I'm being impatient here, but anyone know what happened to Freezing episode 08? According to AniDB it should have aired on the 26th, and the previous episodes have all gone up on the Sunday at the latest.

Its out, but as a v0, the best group had trouble getting a TS of it, so they released the unfinished version for now.

the mechas in the anime im looking for were less organic afaik

the mechs looked somewhat non organic
sketch from memory :

i dont really remember if they had arms

the pieces of broken highway + pillars and bridges (probably only highways) was really prominent as in you could see them anywhere - hard to miss

Haha Basquash was so bad.

Also, anyone besides me that is tired of these god damn fillers?
Hate that shit, they don't even bother making up any kind of good filler arcs. Best one i've seen was in One Piece and that was the G8 arc.

First, thanks for the packs Kolossal! Secondly,  FLCL was so awesome. Anyone know of more anime kinda like it?

Also, I'm looking for a name of an old anime pack that were uploaded here. It was about a girl whom didnt have any parents, so she was working as a housekeeper. Then she gets busted out by a woman on a scooter. I think the scenery is Brazil and in the anime there was a gang called Monster.

You should watch Paprika or Mind Game. Those are fucked up!

I'm a bit of an Anime newbie and I'd like some recommendations.

I watched a bit of Fullmetal Alchemist a few years back, and wasn't really taken by it.
But I've just started Death Note (6 eps in) and am really really enjoying it.
I guess it's the psychological aspect of it I like, and the intricate writing.

So... what should I try next?

Try Monster if you like some character development and psychological aspects.

And Planetes.

Finished watching Soul Eater, really liked it, the whole Imp sideplot was fun to watch and I loved the animation and art style. If you want a shonen with an unusual setting and very well coreographed battle scenes this one is right for you.

Now I'm watching Tokyo Magnitud 8.0, 8 episodes in I'm liking it very much, very realistic anime and the relationship between the 2 brothers is really beautiful.

On another note is it just me or the new arc in Bleach manga sucks major ass?
