and bullseye, the anime isnt sold to the animators for them to fucking play around with the story, they are being sold to them because the author's want money and want people to read watch and perhaps, if they are smart, go read the manga.

WHAT!!! "The Authors Want Money", why those evil people, how could they want money for their creations, they should just sell the manga's for free, and we all live in a fairy lil land where we buy stuff with love...woooooo....weeeeee

Can't really tell what you are on about, but ok.

For myself one of the best short anime's ive seen is called Psychic academy or something like that.

But my favorite shows are definitely Green Green, Great Teacher Onizuka, One Piece, Full Metal Panic /alchemist, Tenjou Tenge, Air Gear and alot more.

Bounen no Xamdou isn't very good unfortunately. Pity. The show starts good pointing in one direction, but follows the complete opposite from the second episode until half, then it changes again and again, all this while it doesn't really follow trough something. You watch the show, but it doesn't wanna go anywhere. You ask yourself , ok so what's this anime about, what are they trying to do? Well nothing really, this and that, hoping around without purpose.

Dragon Ball Z Refresh coming this year!

Let's just break it down clearly and quickly for you, since I'm pretty sure that we can all barely contain our excitement:

The DBZ TV series is receiving an extensive "refresh" for Japanese television airing

This is a celebration of the 20th anniversary of DBZ

While based on the original animation production, it is being updated with new technology

This includes extending the frames for formatting on an HD 16:9 display (note: not cropping the image)

The original Japanese cast is re-grouping to re-voice the show (where available, and unfortunately not including those that have passed on, such as Hirotaka Suzuoki [Tenshinhan])

Sound effects are being updated

Unlike the general show, the OPs and EDs are being completely redone

While not in the above announcement, other reports are noting that the number of episodes is being reduced from 291 to approximately 100

This begins 05 April 2009 @ 9 am

Ha, awesome. Might just be worth a re-watch if they have actually reduced the episode count to that extent. The (very) slow pacing was the biggest downfall of the show, imo.

so ppl, i finished watching naruto and bleach, now i am looking for another similar series, could you guys simply comment whether one piece is good or not, is it similar to naruto and bleach, you know, powers and stuff!!!

If you like action I would like to recommend Ga-Rei: Zero, one of last seasons most underrated series, its well worth a watch.

alright, so after googling a bit , i found that there was general consensus that op>naruto or bleach

mjew said that some characters had power, but from what i heard, in japan this is said to be the successor of Dragon Ball, which is a good thing, :thumbsup:

greetings anime lovers and fans,
if you cba to read the entire post please proceed to the TLDR part
Due to my unavoidable temporarily loss of internet i found myself much more limited in my spare time. One of the things i get by with is downloading the latest and some former of One Piece, Naruto and Bleach because i usually take a 26~ weeks break and then catch up 26~ episodes in my spare time

However, after watching the latest 25 episodes of bleach naruto and one piece I was greatly disturbed by both bleach and naruto's lack of... being fun to watch?

Even after watching the new Naruto where

both akatsuki get killed and orochimaru is on the move

I was still yawning of boredom behind my computer. However when watching one piece after thriller bark arc which I had already seen, where as many of you know

nothing really interesting happens brook joins which was predictable, you see his past with laboon, they get assaulted by foxy pirates some old friends and attacked by fishmen

if i think about it i would say the things that happened in naruto should be much more exiting then the things in one piece the past 10-20 episodes. But

TLDR I am curious to whether I am the only one experiencing lack of interest to pursue the storyline of both naruto and bleach and only one piece stays interesting and more importantly enjoyable to watch.
Perhaps I have reached a stage where I myself have actually changed instead of the series itself.
Which is why I am asking this. To confirm whether I am the only one that has nearly completely lost interest in both naruto and bleach, orothers have experience with this same issue at the moment.

Even tho naruto and bleach are both crap now, I still like to watch them every week. I have no idea why, because all these bleach fillers are driving me crazy.. One Piece however, is still very fun to watch and I'm always looking forward to the next episode.

Also in response to the person above me I have just realised a rather interesting fact.I can provide you with a much more complex answer, but i believe this should be enough.
Nothing which happens in One Piece can be officially considered a filler, leaving out the manga of course.
This is however my point of view

I have never read any of the manga's so my opinion of filler can be a bit off..

Maybe the 2 or 3 episodes between story arcs can be considered fillers in one piece (something like the post-enies lobby arc), however I always enjoy those, which i cant say from naruto or bleach. I remember an episode of bleach in which they spent 20 minutes baking cakes.. That was worst episode i have seen.

Still these "fillers" in one piece are also very fun to watch, especially after a story arc of 40 episodes+

i am actually finding myself in a similar situation where i have lost interest in naruto and bleach animes, 1-20 eps of one piece have been a drag to say the least,

Though the naruto manga right now are on an all time high (the best arc in naruto EVER IMO), the fight between naruto and pein is going strong, i find myself waiting for the manga every week, bleach manga is also going strong though not on the same level, Ichigo's gettin the crap beaten out of him like always, its 300+ episodes of naruto and they haven't even reached halfway of the manga, they are really draggin this one...

when i saw the first episode in one piece, i could only compare the animation to ...popeye...yes popeye, but OP did begin in 1999, so i am just hopin it gets better!!!
