As for the Gundam discussion. I'm not a big fan of mecha anime. Only seen few eps of 00 and that was because I wanted too see the Menclave's karaoke.

Now that u meation it, i only have Dvdrips from KAA . Still u cant go wrong with the releases from them.

You call them evil because they rip dvds with the subs on them? Isn't that a touch hypocritical on a torrent site? You at least have more of an argument when they use other people's fansubs, but even then it's splitting hairs.

To the person asking about shows like Clannad, I give another thumbs up to AIR and Kanon. Just make sure you get the recent version of Kanon (there's an older one around too).

Hah hah, I think you took it too seriously than what I meant by evil. Maybe I should have included a happy face to make it more clear. Me being a member here should make it clear what I think about what they are doing. But thats enough offtopic.

Hey guys, which fansub of the GITS:SAC would you get? It's not a question of video quality, I can live without a 1080 hd whatever rip. It's just that I've seen a few by different groups and can't really decide... as I don't know whether there are any real subtitle quality issues or differences between the versions.

I'd go for the KAA, and if you must have english audio V-A.

Edit: Easiest way is just to check at anidb.net, the ratings are a good pointer.

But anidb usually misses alot of fansubbers, and most of them who aren't in the list have better quallity. But if you don't want to search alot anidb is your best friend, else you could look at forums and ask what best fansubber is for your show, and then go to their homepage ( easily to find through the anidb page)

Misses a lot? I have never seen a fansub that is not on the list.

exactly, i wanted to reply too but i forgot. There's absolutely no miss in anything, english fansubs i mean, i don't know about other languages but there are a lot of those too.

You have 0day sites like tokyo toshokan or baka-updates that show everything as soon as they're released and all of those appear right away on anidb. So i'm kinda confused about qwero's statement ...

The only thing i've seen is mislabeling, or straight rip-offs from other groups on public trackers.

Anyway, so whats your favourite Anime for the new season?
I'd say Toradora! or Toaru Majutsu no Index.

I bit disapointed in Ef - a tale of melodies , but its hard to tell from just 1 episode i guess =).

Clannad AS is a given, Kannagi is loads of fun and the animation is nice to. Kemeko DX is just wack but still like it, also dat ass.

Toradora dissapointed me, the manga is much funnier and Rie does the tsundere role pretty bad compared to her other casts. Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka Will probably just be generic harem but I always seem to fall for them.

For all those people who keep moaning about Anime not being FL: Anime is an exception on TB! There are enough FL packs on the tracker already! Other trackers like us don`t even have Anime so please stop asking!

Yeah also like Clannad AS, but dont like the 4:3 format . I've heard that the WS version starts airing tomorrow(23/10), hope that SS-Eclipse pick that up .

Haven't read the manga for Toradora, so i didnt have that high hope for it. As for Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka its not bad, but nothing special either. But i'm a sucker for harem to so ofc i follow it !

Yeah i have a feeling that the people that complain about it not beeing FL arent that "Hardcore" Anime geeks , since its not to hard to find by yourself if u dont want to "waste" GB here.

Was just gonna announce that the whole pack for Hunter x Hunter is up and if you havnt seen the show i highly recommend it to anyone whatever taste you have in anime! Hope people are pleased with the packs that have been uploaded recently, i know it was going slow for awhile but we promise to shape up and bring more joy to this community!

If you like samurai champloo styled anime you should check out "Michiko to Hatchin" extremly nice quality. Cant say much to the story , only 1 ep released so far, but the maincharatcer is a hot chocolate

Of the 34 thats been uploaded?
Yes, you've only watched about 1/4 of the show then, there is 62 episodes and 3 ovas with 12 episodes each

And thats not the end either, the manga is still ongoing. but the Author has been sick for about 2 years, some say he had cancer, but he has now started it again. so soon another OVA will be out aswell.

Edit: Nvm saw that every ova and everything was upped aswell, so i am guessing you'll have to wait about a year or so for the new one.
