Allso if your curious about air dates for naruto either check anidb or visit tv-tokyos naruto page.

I did check anidb, but the issue as I understood it was DB saying they were gonna drop Naruto, not that it stopped coming out as the anime. Ofcourse that's most likely BS as they've done it before, but I just dont want to think its a joke every time they say it and they really do mean it when everyone is thinking they're screwing around.

Can you honestly say that you think bleach is well made? Have you watched any of the recent episodes? The animation has seriously gone down the hill, just as the story has. As for naruto, well, I liked it when I started watching it, but I probably outgrew it. I mean, I saw an episode not so long ago and all it reminded me of was DBZ, which is not a good thing.

I have seen every single episode of Naruto, Bleach and Soul Eater, and don't have much of a problem with any of them. Sure, the fillers seem to drag shit out, but they're fillers...what do you expect?

Absolutely, I just say, I started with naruto and then it was DearS and I just continued to watch high rated stuff, eventually you'll do exactly like me and broaden your taste.

the guys here only try to educate you in terms of anime, man. Naruto and Bleach being crap has nothing to do with opinion or personal preferences. It's a matter of logic and facts, it's reality. You can always write on a piece of paper some facts that you picked out of certain episodes and then start analizing logicaly, how's the caracters, how do they evolve, are the dialogues ok, do they make sense, the caracters are portraied alright, is the story developing correctly, is it on multiple layers, how does the action/romance blend in, how is the presentation, etc etc.

Whatever criteria you use for rating naruto or bleach they fail at everything. But people instead of looking with a cool head and think rational, they kinda use emotions with anime. They go like "omg bleach is so cool, i wanna do that too" and so on.

But i agree, unless you live in China or North Coreea you can choose what you like to watch or not

I've seen most of the great animes around - and i still follow naruto (got way behind on bleach tho' - and lack of time atm) & Soul Eater - i also watch Code Geass R2 - and those are the only 3 animes i watch for the time being . the good thing with soul eater and naruto;
Its an anime where you can take your head off things, and just watch some nice battles..
when you work as much as i do, i don't want to come home, and watch some Animes where I need to put too many thought into the anime, just to get what happens.

So don't try to shoot down naruto nor bleach - just because you want animes, that gives you more to think about

Dozy gets what I meant I think. I've seen other animes like Wolf's Rain, all of the Dragon Ball (Z/GT) stuff, Avatar The Last Airbender, Ruruoni Kenshin, Read or Die and Ghost in the Shell. Its just that now, all I'm watching are Naruto, Bleach and Soul Eater. I don't need to think logically about anime. Its fake entertainment just like movies and tv shows. :lol:

I find that a good anime/movie usually get's you atached emotionaly somehow. Say when Gara died in Naruto, i was really close to sheding a tear, or maybe when Shirley in Code Geas gott murdered i felt anger and hate twoards Rolo.
Even the story has to be great and not to hard to understand though. An exampled of a series that totaly mindfu**** me isi Evangelion (Please dont flame me). I've never been that confused in my entier life ^^

Got not much to add to the discussion here other then that Naruto and bleach are just like "die hard" trilogie. Just watch and enjoy the action (no brainer). Other anime are made to entertain you in an other way, which is different for every person.

Death Note is pretty old and I would say that it is good enough to watch. Right now my favorite show is Nijuu-Mensou no Musume
