Hmmm what do ya mean? Does the anime really differ that much from the manga story? Thought they just could do that kinda thing when there is an filler arc goin' on...?
Thought of this too...what ya'll say is true: the Naruto anime really is crap, not the same as it was in the old times, maybe I should get some manga as well. Darn pitty...

Well I think that they fill out the episode so that they won't catch up to the manga too fast.
But come on, it's still good

And bleach is really awesome now. It's gonna be like with the first arc now. All friends together

My friend told me to download school rumble so I did but im not quite sure its that good, have seen 4 episodes now and nothing really happen. Does anyone know if its going to be better the more I see or if its just a crappy anime. First I thought It was a GTO alike show but it doesnt look so.

Absolutely! I made a bunch of posts in the last couple of pages, but not many others seemed to enjoy it as much as I did. Great show.

It sure was a good watch before work. I just wish they wouldn't do the recap at the beginning of each episode. It's getting annoying :grumpy:

Yea agree. The first 5 minutes are recap and intro
But Bleach is really good now. Really cool with Kurousaki and Ishida fathers at the end. Would love to know more about that...

Eclipse have subbed the first episode of Clannad as well (from makers of Haruhi Suzumiya, Kanon etc), it seems good so far.

Got a question:

Some time ago the serie Dennou Coil was uploaded here untill episode 12, but I don't think that was the last. Any change the remaining episode will be upped ?

Now that I am here, any of you guys or girls also collect artbooks/figures/etc. based on anime series? If so, where do you get them from? I've got a few now but they are not that easy to find or cheap.

Watched the first ep just now, and i think that it can be a hit. But i wonder if it can get as good as Gundam SEED...

Yes, but I don't mind waiting if they are going to be upped here. Gives me a change to watch the other 276???? movies and series I still need to see.

Shakugan no Shana aired last year and was pretty populair among some of us here =) I suggest you get it from exlipse and find out what the fuzz is all about ^^

well the fall season is now well underway, so I thought I would write some mini-reviews of the episode 1s that I've watched so far:

Dragonaut. Although there is much that's left to be told about the story of Dragonaut, it seems to revolve around a space shuttle accident that happened in the protagonist's past, and is also somehow about people piloting dragons. This is one of the ones that I quite liked. The art style is fairly unique, and the animation is very well done throughout. It did have some 3d cg stuff in it though, which I'm not a big fan of, alhough they were quite well done I suppose. The first episode has left me wanting more, which is always a good thing. It managed to introduce many concepts which have yet to be explained, while also being quite action-packed. edit: oh, and it contains some light ecchi, so some people might want to avoid.

Clannad. The story so far is basically about a boy, and a quiet, somewhat mysterious girl. Probably my favourite of the season so far. This is made by the same studio that brought us The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and already features many of their trademark elements. It looks like this series is going to be driven by intrigue and a strong plot, with a light peppering of action and humour.

Shana II. Not much to say about this. More of the same supernatural shenanigans that we're used to from season 1. If you enjoyed that, then you should enjoy this. Melonpan.

Genshiken 2. Season 2 of the slice of life anime revolving around a group of otakus who are all members of the college manga/anime appreciation club named Genshiken. I was somewhat disappointed by this episode. I really enjoyed the first season, and it looks like this season will not be as good, but time will tell here.

Kimikiss Pure Rouge. This seems to be a straight forward romance anime. I was hoping they'd go with more of a comedic approach, but that was few and far between in episode 1. It had it's endearing qualities, but it wasn't really my bag.

Rental Magika. My first big disappointment of this season. This was one of the series I was most looking forward to before the season starts, but episode 1 was boring as hell.

Mokke. Absolutely crap. I think it was about flowers.

Bamboo Blade. This one is about a kendo club at school, and was probably the most fun of the ep1s. it seems like it's going to be an actiony show, with plenty of humour mixed in for good measure. It's quite a simplistic anime, and we're not going to see anything too complicated from this one, but it never claims otherwise. Most of the characters seem loveable, and I for one will be enjoying their adventures over the coming weeks.

Edit:

Miname-ke. Another slice of life comedy, with this one revolving around 3 sisters, one of whom is quite dim, but makes up for it by being extremely energetic and slightly crazy. I thought episode 1 was hilarious, and there were also some very nicely animated scenes, so I'll be continuing to watch this one for sure.
