I've never had any problems with memory leaks in Firefox, but v5 is something else. After a few minutes with browsing with a few tabs, it takes up 330-400 mb of memory.

Last day decided to try out Firefox 8 Alpha 1 and I have to admit, being a avid Chrome user for a while now, if Firefox 8 final is just as fast or even faster as it is right now... I might consider dumping Chrome for Firefox.
Used to be a firefox lover till it became slower than Chrome.

I'm actually having a similar problem with firefox and flash or something flash related causes the browser to lockup.

Been using Opera for the last couple of weeks and looks like Im going to stick with it. I just couldn't figure out what was causing FF to constantly become unresponsive and I cant stand how Chrome handles cookies.

What about Chrome's handling of cookies can't you stand? It's the same as every other browser (which is basically to do what the website tells it to do with the cookies, or delete them sooner if the user has it set like that).

I like having the "ask me everytime" option where you get a popup to accept or decline when I webpage tries to set a cookie.

Oh, well that's an answer I wasn't anticipating. It must get fucking annoying though considering the number of cookies most sites want to store. Personally I open an Incognito window each time I don't want something to store cookies. But fair enough, enjoy your new browser and I'll put my fanboi to sleep for a bit.

Lmao, qbert95, that is a lot of clicking then...
You can just set a "whitelist" of websites you accept cookies and block anything else.
In Google Chrome that is.

I'm looking for a firefox rss reader/addon I used to have, which went "boing", when the feed updated and made the name of the feed red (incl. the new articles).

the "boing" one is a chrome extension (rss live links) not a firefox one. live click is the one that firefox has that is closest to it.

Anyone ever have a problem with drop down boxes not working in Chrome?

This image has been resized, click here to view the full-sized image.

I can tab to the drop down box and edit the field, but I cant click it down and choose.

I ended up switching to Chrome it was so bad, don't know if they've improved it yet.

But does anyone know if there's a way to stack tabs in Chrome like you can in Opera?
