If I actually had money I would donate. Hell if I actually had money, I'd do a lot of things. But I'm literally broke. Not the best time in my life haha.

I think about it often actually.... but I often think about doing lots of thing, and still don't get anything done There are three sites (incl this one) I wanna donate to, and I promised myself that it should be done before christmas!

This is very confusing....
I want to donate but... the only thing that hapens it's a Star?!? Why the administration os this site doesn't give any special attention to who donates???
For instante, $20 - 200Gb Upload Credit ?!? maybe in this way many people will start do donate.
This is the best torrents site that i know, and i don't want that will go down but you must make some differentiation do the ones that donate.

Yes all donators get is a star but with that star they know that they have helped out a site they use allot and can say that they done their bit. IMO

I agree with the people saying about giving your free upload credits for donoting.
My argument is that many people including myself still see donoting as paying to leech..
I know it goes to the server but it all comes back to leeching from the site, so therefore paying ( donoting ) to leech from TB.
Its not like were donoting to save dying people or to save animals, people will want something in return otherwise people will donote where they will get something in return....

not getting something for donating? thats a bit strange. you getting movies, games,software and tv epps for that donation that other wise would have cost you more then a few dollars otherwise. so you are getting something for donating. torrent sites survive or die from either getting enough donations or not. with 50,000 members and at least 10 percent of them giving a dollar or two every month this site will stay on for the forseeable future. but we are not seeing 10 percent giving that kind on funding every month.
face it none of the sites would be around without donations. the staff are not going to continuously take operating expenses out of there pocket. none of us are rich!! and the sites are for all the users so why should staff pay the bills for your enjoyment. we need donations to keep this site up and running.
we have some users who have donated many times maybe not large amounts but they have been generous enough to take a few bucks out of their pockets so all the users can enjoy this site and community. and all the staff and a lot of users thank them profusely for that kindness. with out them those of you to tight to donate would have nowhere to get all this stuff you enjoy. and this goes for any site not just this one.
if all the users felt as some of you do there would not be any sites around for long. the people who donate save themselfs and the rest of us a lot of money we would have otherwise would have had to taken out of pocket to buy.
to all those who have and will donate i say you make this all possible.

I can see where your coming from but try to see where im coming from.
I can go to other sites with good speeds and donote there and atleast get upload credits.
Being on shocking up speeds this system works good for me...
