With this little program you can select the IP you want to play AoE3 with, it's very simple!

You could always use Hamachi (www.hamachi.cc) it makes a VPN so you can play any games over LAN

can someone confirm the current tb hamachi server details , tried the details from first post and it says its an invalid password

I wouldnt mind a few games of mx vs atv

how this hamachi thing works if someone could tell me a
hamachi for dummies i would like to play some games on it.

well hamachi is essentialy a Virtual LAN aplication

For example , if I download and run a hamachi server (very easy to do) and you download hamachi and connect to my hamachi server (again very easy to do) our 2 computers think they are on a LAN (local area network) this means that games that have LAN multiplay can be played over the internet ..

If you have any shared folders that may be shared across your hoem network then hamchi users can browse through your shared folders , so its sometimes a good idea to disable shareing of folders when on hamachi, unless of course your going to connect to hamachi with a friend so you can share some music or whateaver with each other .

Hamachi si a great little app ad I find its very reliable and works with alot of games .

Doesn't work for me and a friend of mine. I select the hamachi IP but it still uses my internal IP. Any ideas?

I can't download this LAN Chat app because i can't read the language on that site. Is there any english or german mirror?

Don't worry about that app. You can double click on a fella in your hamachi list and talk to him. That app is only good if you need a chatroom for all of the users in the hamachi to join it. At the moment not many are using TB hamachi, so there's no need for that.
As a side note, for gaming it's great to have xfire. You can create a chatroom and boom you got all your friends right where you want'em

There is one thing i really hate. During a game, if someones comp lags more than the other, it slacks behind and makes the whole network between them to crash and cannot play anymore. Hamachi staff cant really be blamed for this but still, its very annoying. Cant they make it more stable or something? :fist:
