Serious sam the 2nd encounter seems to work now, after my format.

This thread has become strangely quiet...

How bout we try the new SS2 demo? I'm curious if it'll work better on-line than SS:SE (where I can host a game for 3 people, myself included).

That 1 level is too short. You can complete it in 10 minutes. Don't bother... When full comes, we can give it a go

I'm still waiting for someone brave enough who'll play UT2K4 with me.

EDIT: Now that SC: Chaos Theory is out and (suposedly) working... we could try to play THIS over LAN... It could be great.

However, I'd still rather have someone tell me the game works and all, before I start playing around with it. It looks dangerous (installing and meddling with drivers that is).

Well as far as I see it there's a lot of issues with the release. I kinda lost hope of making it work when I read the thread in games section :-/

Me personaly will wait for cracked release (if ever). It just seems to much fus with disabling/enabling drives and god knows what else. No SC:CT for me then :-/

The release works, just do whatever the nfo says, and go read sniperfins SF3 tutorial on tutorials section :smirk:

I could sacrifice some time for the cause... make a system return point (or whatever it's called in English... I've got a Polish edition of Windows) and try it. If all works... well, I'd be willing to give the MP a go.

All right! It works! If you got SC:CT from some earlier release, it might not work with the new fix.

So... who's up for some coop or versus?

I'd be really nice if we could find 4 people for the versus... :ninja:

Newsflash!
You don't need to play around with all that starfore shit to play the multiplayer mode- versus. Just install the game and run the Versus mode from <InstallDir>\Versus\System. There, you can play.

Note: coop mode (which is also MP after all) is handled by the starforce protected part of the game, so if you want that, you need to start playing around.

its allot of work, and i hope [been trying too install this with Kurtman but that failed...]
that this time it will work

Well... I'm ready for a little versus if i got this installed so count me in for 50%

Also, if someone wants to play Versus only, I guess I could just RAR the Versus folder and share it... trouble is, as I stated earlier, my connection is crap. The folder ain't that big though, so it's doable.

EDIT: Versus folder RAR compressed = 209MB
