Please get LANchat from http://republika.pl/lanchat/LANChatRevival1666c.exe The installer might not be in english, but the program itself is. Please use it. It makes communicating with others a lot easier.
Please leave the network when you go offline (max number of people in the network is 16) if you see the number of people connected to the network is more then 12. People that do not leave will get evicted if the number is higher then 12, to ensure to others that want to connect a free slot. When you want to come back online connect again and I'm sure there will be a spot available since there aren't more then 12 users online at anytime given time.
Sorry for any inconveniances, but this appears to be the only resonable solution for now

I wrote a guide for Rome: total war when that got released, but it also works for NFS:U2 (played it myself)
http://upl.silentwhisper.net/uplfolders … erRome.txt also try running battlelan on both computers and connecting to each other.
Very simple really. For hamachi: In your NFSU2 folder you have server.cfg. Open it with notepad and delete the last line. So it should look like this:
##------------------------------------------------------------------------
## DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING BELOW HERE
##------------------------------------------------------------------------
ACCOUNT=1
MASTER=1
SLAVE=1
REDIR=1
#
# This line allows the server to determine on what interface to listen for
# connections. It can be any publicly routable IP address (this is the case
# even if the host is on a LAN that is isolated from the Internet). There is
# no communication attempted with the IP address listed here.
#
Leave everything else at is it (above this).
Voila you're good to go.
P.S. Shaamaan if you want to race me any time I'd be more then happy to kick your ass
Nice race there shaamaan, hope you liked the taste of it *cough* dust that is *cough* Rematch soon eh?
Btw we could use 2 more players and we can have 4 person race? Anyone for it?
Whoa there. First off, I wanted to play with my friend. Youre welcome to join, no problems there mate, but the last time either of us had played NFS:U2 the "hardcore" way, was... uhm... I don't remember. So, feel free to join, but your going to be lonely at the front, I can tell you that.
