I dont know if this is just because of my imagination, but I got this tip from a friend. And I think it worked.
1.Type about:config into the address bar and hit return.
2.Scroll down and look for the following entries:
network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining
Change them both to "True"
3. Now look for this entry:
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Set it to "30" or something like that. This means it will make 30 requests at once.
4. Now there is only one thing left to do.
Right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer.
Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.

Thanks. I had the wait on 100 and it was killing my browser
nice info dude, btu its very old info too, tht thing has been around for ages, anyways umm test it out first cuz if u have it set too hihg, some webpages wont display correctly on your comp.
