my source says that 6800GT's >you mean 6600gt rite?
original 500/450
easily possible & recommended 530/600
max 570/650 @ 83 degrees
both high temp & high freq affect the lifetime of the card

lol i got scared and put everything to stock  its not really worth it because all that overclocking got me like 70 or something extra 3dmarks in 05

i guess i can Oce it to 553, but i am confused out one thing, the memory speed you told me, 650 is how much effective?

@ dooger, i dono in my experience, coolbits is better because whenever i oCed using rivatuner my marks went down by 100  same with my old fx5200

ok, i got it to the max (347/469)

now, what should the AGP apperture size be? (the gfx has 256 MB of RAM, my computer has 1 gig)

k i'll put ur recommended 530 on the core, but wat about the memory? what does 600 MHz mean ? what is the frequency effective?

#495256 by mselo4ever4 (User) at 2005-12-27 20:11:56 (7 years ago) - [Report]Top

600 means 1200 like ur current setting( that shows on the img on the previuos page)

so no need to shorten ur cards life for such little deiffernce

btw my card is AX850pro which speeds are

original 506/520
easily possible & recommended 540/550
max possible 560/590

and when i oclocked from 506/520 to 540/550, my 3dMard03 score went from 10766 to 11133

EDIT: Is there a way to overclock my PCI-E Radeon X300SE?

guys, i have a little problem
i just bought a new hdd, it is my first SATA one, and i am using it for storage, but whenever i overclock my cpu with a fsb higher than 225 or so, the sata controller will totally fuck up and the drive will become unreadable and the index will get scrambled...
does anyone have an idea to fix this...?
SPECS ARE IN PROFILE!

u mean ur card is PCI-E not AGP, PCI-E cards r better & faster than AGP

sure u can do, all cards are overclockable both AGP & PCI-E

turn them up to the recommended speed

obviously the most expensive, but a Zalman VF-700AluCu will do
Fatal1ty is too expensive, just because its named after a gamer

will the ZALMAN VF700-AlCu  be the best for overclocking?
and it will be a lot better than stock right?

the hotter ur card is .. the shorter its life time is

get the zalman Cu, will drop ur temps around 25-30 degrees with a good thermal paste

@archey
we can see nothing more than processor ... if ur processor is good and nothing to complain about why care? if not then u can overclock a bit, there is a guide in my profile .. give it a try if u are interested.
