i added a link in my profile for his suggested single loop water cooling kit. he based his choice on the assumption that price is not an issue, he'll be doing some editing to the original post later as he promised, he just replied with the items i mentioned in the guide thinking this was urgent.

My computer.

-Intel Core2Duo E6750
-Patriot Extreme Performance 2GB 2X1GB PC2-6400 DDR2-800 CL4-4-4-12
-EVGA E-GEFORCE 8800GTS 500MHZ 320MB 1.6GHZ GDDR3 PCI-E Dual DVI-I HDTV HDCP DX10
-OCZ StealthXstream 600w PSU

I don't wanna touch the cpu for now, but I do want to overclock my GFX. It's not performing as well as it should. Problem is, i've NEVER overclocked any hardware before.
I'm using Rivatuner 2.06
Nvidia driver 163.75 forceware
and XP sp2.

I have no idea how to OC, or use rivatuner..
I also have stock cooling, so I don't want to do any hardcore OC'ing, just to tap into the potential of the card a bit. Release the hounds, so to speak.

Single Stage, Dimas evap with R507 gas.
Temps, somewhere around -40 - -45c. Built for holding Quad Core, specialy 45nm processors. 230w heat at -31c.
Motherboard, DFI P35-T2R Transpiper.
Vcore, 1,73 as you can see.
Vchipset, 1,5 or 1,6V. Dont remember the VTT now.
Doesnt got prime 6h screen.
I can do SPI 32M without getting errors, that takes around 15 mins.

Ironic its still not stable, now the rest of the components get hot instead.

Got to fix my watercooling for my GFX now.

I'm not running it 24/7, and the bill is included in the rent.

Gotta love the 45nm.

After raising the core voltage to 1.65 v, the processor succeeded to overclock up 5.3-5.4 GHz

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but here is a great little app that lets you set memory timing from Windows so you dont need to go into the bios (applied after you reboot)...

obviously your 4gb and 6600 are doing the clocks for you

same card 8800gt512 and close to my max clocks are:
690/1734/988

i get around 13k on 3dmark

its just a shame you got a top rate system but went with led lights, i regretted on my old case

When i ran the test i had 440Fsb *9 on Cpu = 3960mhz
440Fsb gives 1100mhz on Ram (2gb)
1.54Vcore and 2.3vmem, +0.10v on chipset and 5-5-5-15 timings

Currently runnig 435Fsb =3915mhz and 1087mhz on Ram (4gb).

As I said, ive done the bios volt mod, got stock cooler with fan profiles.
It runs Atitool Artifactscan without problems and so does Crysis / Cod4 and World In Conflict.

fx2050

Then your current "Real" clocks are: 691 Core / 1728 Shader / 990 Mem

Read here: http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=43535

The Led fans are the original Antec fans, im gonna put the Radiator in the front with better fans so those blue ones are not long lasting.

my new setup OC'd and running stable :-D

using stock fan pushed the cpu voltage up slightly, been running fine all night with gaming etc etc did try to push the FSB bus up to 450 but was a bit unstable under load (would reboot) could probably be ironed out with a little more voltage and better cooling but am happy at the moment :-D

now running orthos beta and cpu temps are around 57°C degess, will let it run for the night.

No one knows, u have to try it out for yourself.

Without voltmod the cards do from 690-730 stable on Core.

Oh sweet lord...
This was done on a Gigabyte GA-X48T-DQ6.
Don't know why it says X38, it's an X48 board.

He did it with a software overclocker...
And I don't see any evidence of stability.

Alright, got my OC like this:

Q6600 at 8 x 400.

The memory auto sets itself to DDR2-800.  I assume that's normal?
Ratio is 1:1, memory at 4-4-4-12.
Vcore is at 1.325 in Bios but I may take it down a few notches once done.

For some reason my CoreTemp is showing speeds of 3.6 GHz (6 x 600), but CPUZ and Bios are showing properly.  I'm Prime95'ing it right now.  So far peak temp has been 61C.

[edit]
Lowered Vcore to 1.275.
Prime95 peak temp is 57C now.

[edit edit]
Vcore stable at 1.250.
24 hour Prime95 passed.
