The sound in ep 6 sound more like an rifle, and the only person as far as we now has a rifle is the french women. And dont you guys remeber from like in the season 1 that the french women says like its so nice to be touched and talk to you etc so said, could she been watching said and maybe gotten jealous by the crush between Said and shannon? But i'd put my money on french chick or ana-lucia well if you look at the weapons in the hatch non well well maybe if it was another person that shoots her but still is a sound from a rifle and its not not that close even... and still anas weapon doesn´t fit the sound in ep 6... Some things about the show are questionable -- that's true. Not this, however. Ana Lucia clearly shot Shannon. The whole reason for this episode was to at some level create a sense of compassion for Ana Lucia and the other survivors.
