I can tell you don't know jack. Xvid compression artifacts are very common in the HR-HDTV caps. Just because you got a higher resolution does not mean you have better quality. If you can't see the XVid compressions you are one of the blessed ones that has not been cursed with the critical eye that comes from encoding hundreds of episodes.

Now the 700 MByte releases of a 42 minute episodes do show compression artifacts that are not present on the studio Box set releases. To my knowledge there are very few encodes that surpass or equal studio releases one of them is the 1.36 Gig 1264x720p KOS or INT encode that can be found at a major TV release site and has as its source 1280x720p Transport stream. But then that is not HR-HDTV that is a 720p release.

I just started to watch this tv-series and it is awesome :rofl:

But i have problem I had only 24episodes of first season.

Does any one know how many there is ?
And why the last episode i have so hevy ? 720mb

I dunno, I like it. Lost is a mystery, it wouldn't be as enjoyable if they just gave it all away. Besides, I find it relaxing that it's a bit "slow", let's you focus more on the characters and stuff.

You guys could just download the videos and not watch them... when all the episodes have aired and the season is over, then you watch. Hard to do, I know

Is the guy Alvar Hanso pure fiction, or has he lived?

I found a pic that some might find intresting. The Dharma logo is put over the fountain that you see in the dharma orientation film. Might just be a coincidence I dont know.
