The numbers are absolutley everywhere. Pretty much any number mentioned in the 1st season was linked to the numbers on the hatch.

also another strange thing, in the newest episode charlie has a mary figure in his bag, in church in an earlier ep he walks past one identical but just abit bigger

I remember before tv.com was taken over and ruined they would post all the episode names, regardless... only a few would have descriptions.... It's no wonder there's an effort to create a free/wiki tvtome replacement in the works.

They two eps are played in different angels, showing different aspects of what have taken place in the hatch.

maybe its because your using a projector, i havnt seen any scenes that dark so far in lost, in fact im quite supprised you mentioned it!?

Im in a 100% light controlled roome with dark color walls and had my projector grey scaled calibrated to track within 1% deviation of 6500k from 40ire to 100ire. I also set my color levels using a professional external signal generator using a 1280x720p signal so the colors are exact ISF standards to the OTA hd CBS signal for lost;

OTA hd CBS signal for LOST, I see the problem now clearly of course CBS would show way too dark scenes now ABC on the other hand...
Perhaps you need to wait until it comes out on HD DVD or BD OR complain to the producers that what they are creating looks trashy on your reference set-up :-P
