He kind of said that the beard guy was jack shit. And in the episode when we get to see claire in the hatch. The berad guy says to Ethan that someone, i think the leader, is going to be really mad about the screw up. #582685 by unknown[122765] at 2006-04-07 08:08:32 (7 years ago) - [Report] this is regarding the difference b/w two pics on DAVE now as a lost fan many of us dont know which are clues and mystery and which are not sdome examples maybe are the hand which we saw beside the horse it could be an other or better yet HIM so the pic which they took had some diff becuz the dave actor has to be moved and some time of makeup and all made the two pic a little diff the main idea was that dave does not exist.... and if u observe vey closely u see a litlle light on the widow the reason y the room is so dark is becuz of the powerfull flash it sometimes happens on semi dark rooms when u take pics..... it was a mistake on directors part and there are many becuz we see every detail of lost becuz of the nature of it we make a big deal out of it...... next episode look awsome as locke tries to figure out the drawing ( this is not a spoiler as we all knew he would try it sometime....) They clearly know about the food drops, so maybe they have been on the island from the start, hell maybe they are the original scientist, and that they cant seem to leave, currents, tides, maybe something to do with the button itself and the disaster that happened. So back to henry and the button, he cant have pushed it as they was no shaking, when locke didnt push it last time there was a lot of movement and as i remmeber the sound of the beeping changed. Locke would of heard the difference and known that it had gone to the red and black symbols. It's a very interesting idea that button, so elegant in its simplicity. They have to push the button, because even though most likely nothing will actually happen, what if something did. It will be this what if that will keep them pushing it for the forseeable future. I too can't understand why they havnt interrogated "Henry" again, sayid was quick to do it withoutknowing who he was, now theyre taking it slowly knowing that he is an other, someone who conceivably knows the answers. While watching the episode, it became apparent that "Henry" has a very credible fear of this boss, this leader. Now it seems very strange to me that he has this fear when this person is supposedly the other side of the island, but not only that he's inside the hatch which even if the others know about it (which im thinking they definatly do) proected by a guard 24/7 in a weapons locker. Now if someone thinks about this, i believe its quite clear that the guy would be more scared of sayid and what hes prepared to do to him than some guy all the way away, how the hell is he going to know what he said. For all he knows hes dead already. So, it would seem to me that these others are keeping a closer eye on the group of survivors than we have been lead to believe, possibly another spy, probably some kind of surveliance equipment hidden inside the hatch, or maybe someone keeping a close eye on there movements from a close distance, the others seem to be more than capable trackers, the producers are leading us to believe they have been on the island for a considerable amount of time and therefore probably know the island very well indeed. I think that its most likely another spy, otherwise how would the bearded man known the people had made a raft and set sale, that would imply that they use the boat all the time, and every night extensiverly search the waters around the island, implying they have a lot of fuel, and if so. why dont they just leave? Season 2 finale should provide some answers, but at the same time those answers lead us again into deeper water otherwise thered be no point in season 3. Whenever i think about lost i always have in the back of my mind an old film called Cube. where i believe 6/7 strangers wake up inside cubes ina  giant structure, the group seemingly all from different backgrounds all of which have nothing in common eventually realise that they together are the skills and expertise that are needed to escape. Its funny how, a capable surgeon and doctor, along with a hunter(locke) a military man, and several other key people were all on that same plane.
