Kiefer Sutherland to appear on ABC's Lost

APRIL 1--Hollywood Wow! reported today that Fox and ABC have joined forces for a novel form of synergization. The networks will feature Jack Bauer, the character played by Kiefer Sutherland in the Fox action series 24, in the ABC supernatural series Lost.

The storyline is being kept under wraps, but sources say it involves Bauer crash-landing on the island in a WWII biplane after he is fired by CTU. Bauer and Lost character Sayid, an ex-Iraqi army interrogator, compete to see who is the best at devolving into paranoia under the guise of protecting the security of the island. The climax is said to feature the two engaging in a torture contest.

Lost creator J.J. Abrams told the sci-fi Website U Bet I'm A Fan!.com that he was looking forward to the marriage of the two shows.

"American's attitudes toward show-show marriage are changing, and I think viewers are ready to see Bauer yell at Charlie and tell him they don't have enough time," Abrams said.

I Heard This One Thing.com reports that Elisha Cuthbert, who plays Bauer's accident-prone daughter Kim on 24, has also signed on to appear in an episode where she trips and falls down.

To up the ante, viewers will be able to vote via phone and the Internet for which character they want to be exiled to Black Rock.

"Since the show is written weeks in advance, the votes will have no bearing in the outcome, but it will make the viewers feel like they are part of something," said Jay Blanezdell, ABC vice president of blendization and synertasticness.

In other Lost news, Unsubstantiatedz reports that William Shatner has signed on to replace Terry O'Quinn as Locke in the series. This has been a busy year for Shatner--in January he passed a kidney stone that was sold on EBay.

The episode starring Shatner and Sutherland will air only on April Fool's Day.

OH that must be a map of the hatch, remember the concrete bit with jack, was locked up with beams of wood, his key attracted towards it s2e1 wonder what is behind it

also that static on the radio which i think it said locke, may be the piolet who dropped the supplies trying to make contact with the hatch

THERE WAS NO PILOT OR A PLANE!

Think there are almost 40 ppl on the beach that time dont u think 1 of the would have seen a plane if there was any??

In the picture there is:
"Estimated travel time incompatible with 108 do not attemp to JOURNEY"

108 was their flight nuber no??

It means that desmond couldn't survey that area because he wouldn't be able to get back in time to put the numbers in, he only has 108 minutes to get there and back remember.

Ugh, how come nobody can leak some unreleased lost episodes here? People leak all sorts of movies on this site, and this site is also one of the first that gets the leaks, so why arent someone hunting down episodes 2 and 3 weeks from now !!!

thats why he said "leaked". If a show is aired, it can't be leaked, as its ALREADY BEEN ON TV.

He is referring to the prison break episodes that have been leaked on the net that havent aired yet.

I Would LOVVEEEEEEEEe to see some lost episodes. But its all good.

a leak would bring you nothing.
well you would be 1 or 2 episodes in advance , but you will still be waiting for the next one and the next one etc.

so , you still have to wait.
it is annoying , but thats how the show works.

I'm telling u all of u who just hate to wait should forget complitly about the series and then when the season ends they will see it all!
Thats what i did i ddnt have the power to wait for all 1st season episodes to come week after week and the Hebrew subs here is israel so i waited it to end and then i've downloaded all of it was a great marathon of LOST!

so you should wait about 2 years till the end of season 5 , and then you can watch them all in a week.
ok , if you have this kind of a strong will , congratulations.
i myself am hooked up with this series.

oh best thing is like i am doing with prison break.
heard it should be great. so i downloaded every episode until now , and never watched an episode.
and at the end of season 1 , i will watch it in one part.

I browse the Lost Forum and it's a known fact! People knew she would appear in the episode even before the airing because her name was in the special guest list!

I think all the characters are related to each other through some kind of thing! Maybe they'll tell us in the second season finale! :w000t:
