If so, why are they taking it? Edit: And Desmond took it too, but he never missed pushing the button for over 3 years so it can't have anything to do with the button. All we know is that Aaron got and Desmond took it, but Desmond didn't die so Aaron shouldn't die either. And the infamous number sequence appeared on the medicine bottle too, which is quite strange. That sequence is everywhere! Could be the alarm, and that would be a reason for why there are no people left there in that hatch. One thing I can't figure out. Claire was kidnapped quite some time ago, way before they had built the raft and all that. There were scientists in the other hatch at that time. Now when the bearded man took Walt when they were on the raft, he had his beard on. But if there are no scientist or people at all left there in the other hatch, why is his beard still there? If the alarm actually went off for them and they ran away, why did he leave his beard there to come back for it only when he needs it? Either that means there's still another hatch, or they're walking around in the jungle (inlikely). I think it's highly unlikely that there are many hatches on the island with similar equipment. First of all, originally there was 3 Dharma stations on the Island (and all of them have been found already), secondly, why would this Zeke dude have a beard inside every hatch on the island? Since there a lot of survivors on the whole island they have to spoof them on many spots of the island. And we also don't know many Airplanes crashed there before. So it's a good matter to have more than only on beard on the hole island. Erm, I don't think they forgot about the alarm, they rather weren't able to push it because the whole staff was on search for Claire. So maybe they missed to push it and so they had to leave the hatch (we don't know yet what happens when the countdown is transgressed.)
