Theres this program you can use in which you enter waypoints and the program will automaically run around and grind for you, with values when to rest and stuff. The program is called Wowbot and you can download it off www.wowsharp.net. Once extract it go to http://www.wowsharp.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=682 and your up and running. Before you start using this overnight I recommend reading wowsharps forums and getting familiarized w/ the tricks and what not and run it while sittling in front of it to see whats going on
Happy leveling, Ive heard you can get up to lvl 60 in 6 day

Don't leave it on and go away for vacation or anything...if a moderator sees you have been online for 72 straight hours they will message you in an attempt to see if someone is actually there or if its a bot...

I'd be against this... if WoW didn't suck. As it is I'm indifferent, because WOW is basically a cash-cow PVE carebear extravaganza. Go ahead and make your level 60 characters in WOW; the game will still suck at level 60 - infact, it'll suck even more because then you'll have NOTHING to do except zerg vs zerg in PVP.
Honestly - the PVP is garbage. I had enough PVE in Everquest and DAOC. If I wanted a to CareBear for another 2000+ hours, I'd.... well I don't wanna PVE anymore. I was one of those guys in DAOC that had 13 level 50s and millions of realm points, 3 accounts and all the top gear. I had a ball with the PVP in my little 8-person guild. But then New Frontiers came out and it turned into ZERG vs ZERG only. Weak weak weak. I sold my 3 accounts for $1400. Got out when the money was still good. WOW has great visuals, great quest systems and god awful PVP and balancing issues.
I hope Imperator is as good as DAOC (pre-New Frontiers Zerg Vs. Zerg garbage). The PVP in DAOC before they fuxxed it all up was awesome. 8v8 combat all night long. Get tired of 8v8, go take a keep. Get tired of crunching keeps, go do a master level. Come back later on and roll some guilds in 8v8... repeat. Great stuff.
I heard theres a whole slew of new MMOs coming out, hopefully one of them (Hero's Journey? Imperator? DAOC2?) will get PVP right, and THEN focus on PVE.
Because in the end, its not the PVE that matters, its the PVP... Its the Player vs. Player interactions that make or break the game.

Oh my god! Who could have guessed? WoW is a PvE game?! It's the revelation of the century!
These balance issues you complain about really don't exist, the game isn't made for 1v1 fights.

I disagree with that. In a "PvP-MMORPG" it makes or breaks the game - not in a game like WoW.
On-Topic:
I really don't understand people who use bots... They pay ~$15 every months and then they aren't even playing? It makes no sense to me.

I've stopped playing WoW now, theres too many unfair glitches, cheats and bots out for it now. Also I'm fed up of people making and publishing these cheats glitches as it ruins the game for the rest of us.
gotta agree cheating is totally lame and destroys the game for everyone else, i can't stand WOW but still feel sorry for the people that feel they need to cheat.....

I'm wondering, if this type of action can be called cheating. Cheating is when you change the rules somehow to help you gain an unfair advantage. Using this you can't kill someone in PvP nor can you become totally immune or something. So, I wouldn't call that cheating.
Though I don't think it's completely OK either. On one side, every player needs to put some effort to get that beloved lvl (be it 10, 20 or 60). Using this you (in theory) don't need to put that effort. But than again, one could say it's unfair that he needs to put this effort in the first place, cos:
a) it ALWAYS takes time
b) you pay for time in this game
c) once you get one char to lvl 60, you've most likely seen the most of WoW, so any other char will most likely get repetitive
Putting it all together, IMHO, you should be able to create new chars with the lvl of your highest lvl char and lvl up any low lvl char instantly to the lvl of your highest lvl char. Though I think I'd rather have such an option in game (as in Guild Wars, which I haven't played, but I heard you can create a high lvl PvP char from the start) rather than use such a bot.

This isn't so different, the concept is called botting and is classed as cheating by most of the community, imo the whole concept is lame.

If most of the community think this is a cheat, I'll go with that. I just think the name is kind of rough. I mean, I wouldn't be as mad on a botter as I'd be on a real cheater if I'd met one in game.
