You all know: Firefox has beautiful Plugins to search Torrents ;-)

and Opera?

It works in that aswell. You would have to make it only a little differently.

You have to find the user-specific search.ini.

Attention!!!!! I do not talk about the search.ini file, which is in the root directory of opera. (the directory of opera.exe) Don't touch that one ;-)

Win 98 und ME single-user find the correct search.ini in:

C:\Programs\Opera**\profile

The users of you, who selected an multi-user-administration at the installation, and the users, who have WinXP or Win2000 find the correct search.ini in:

C:\Documents and Setting\username\Application Data\Opera

The file has to be edit. If you do it, you have to close your Opera. And dont forget to make a Backup file of search.ini ;-)
Now, you can deleted the file.

Now, you download this: save me as... and extract the search.ini in the directory.

Start Opera

This image has been resized, click here to view the full-sized image.

Now, there are small windows for searching (you see it on the screenshot)
If you dont see it, than do this:

English: right-click -> show searchfield -> choose this
German: rechtsklick in die leiste -> zeige suchfeld -> wählen

You can also search with the adress-field:
You can write ts Matrix in a the adressline and you get your links from the torrentspy engine ;-)

Here are the other commands, you should know

mn = mininova
iu = isohunt with an operator
io = isohunt with an and/or operator

test it if you dont like it, than close opera and copy the backup file search.ini back in the folder.

if you like it, open the search.ini script and copy all. now, you paste it at the end of your original script.

Now, you have to adapt the numbering of the search engine.
You dont may have two search engines, who are both designate with [Search Engine 1]
So, look for the number of the last searchengine in your original search.ini... for example: [Search Engine 32]
Now, designate the new pasted accordingly

for example:  [Search Engine 33], [Search Engine 34].......
save the search.ini and put it in the folder ... ready

sensedit: Please use the [imgw] tag when posting images larger than 500px in width.
