i prefer watching at home either on tv-out to 28" or dvd

cant stand going to cinema really, it ok just cramped up with no leg room and the quality in cinemas now compared to dvd's is terrible.

same quality as 25years ago, yes nice big screen but not great quality and there way of compensating is to improve on the sound.

only go cinema if entertaining

Don't have a standalone dvd-player so, powerdvd does the trick here.... svideo cable to my widescreen TV and digital sound to my reciever...

The theater (cinema...) is obviously the best choice. The problem is, people these days are in general total freaking barbarians. There are actually assholes out there (quite a few of them, too) who think it's perfectly fine to talk loudly during the movie and there are even people who think nothing of keeping their cellphones on and even answering them loudly during the movie. :evilmad:

Personally I'd probably crawl under the seat from mortification if I forgot to turn my cellphone off (which so far I never have) during the movie.

Probably due to the whole home cinema phenomenon. People sit at home, fart, talk and munch down on snacks while talking loudly to each other so they somehow think that is their right in the movie theater too... :slap:

So, although I voted for the theater, often I do enjoy my own home theater instead. Got a decent video projector a few years back and have a good sound system so the experience is good... and I can ruthlessly deal with any visitors if they don't keep their mouths shut and watch the movie! :axe:

Nothing beats the theater!

But i usually watch movies on my TV, thats connected from my computer.

well of course in the theaters

but if that isn't possible (or worth it) then the best way to view is it with XBMC

just need a bigger tv (say like 50") then i'll be golden
