'Stargate: Atlantis' Renewed for Fifth Season

Coolio, I'm surprised they've done that so early, but it's still great news.

I still miss SG:1, I want the two DVD specials now though.

80% of all atlantis and SG1 are filler episodes

What does that even mean (filler episode)? Do you want every episode to be about the wraith or replicators? So called "filler" episodes are what television is all about. In fact TV is the filler episode of our lives. :-P ;-)

Filler as in, doesn't make sense? Last few episodes have been rubbish, and is nowhere near the level on how it was on early seasons. Maybe it's just me (prolly is) but without a major twist I don't see this pos going anywhere (used to be a sg-a fan though).

First one was alright, disliked the 2nd one (went way to easy). It's just weird, no real enemy left anymore (The replicators are fighting the Wraith and that's about iirc). Anyway, let's just wait and see what happens and hope it picks up somewhere >_>

They've said that they will introduce a new major threat this season.

#846689 by unknown[189333] at 2007-10-26 23:42:39 (5 years ago) - [Report]Top

i reckon wraith will learn to control the replicators

Decent episode. Had a hot chick, wraithe, and an ancient ship that actually survived. Still it bothers me how easily they can kill a hive ship with those ancient ones. You figure the ancients should have easily owned the wraithe back in the day if stupid humans could.

and they did, the problem was the huge numbers they where up against,

Nice episode.

I liked this week's episode
The only thing I'm wondering, though, is how they never heard of that civ before, seeing as they have far more advanced technology than any other human civ in the galaxy.

If Atlantis continues like this, I think my chances of surviving to the wait for my BSG fix are good

I liked it too but it was soo predictable again.. and then they end it so weird, whatever!

Indeed.

No offense, but you don't see a problem with something being both predictable AND weird at the same time?

#848187 by unknown[189333] at 2007-10-31 06:56:59 (5 years ago) - [Report]Top

if someones constantly weird then they could be predictable

tealc will be on the show soon

#848718 by qbert95 (Power User) at 2007-11-01 13:04:47 (5 years ago) - [Report]Top

Would you say that it was so predictable in its weirdness that its was weirdly predictable or was it so weird in its predictability that it was predictably weird?
