yea I loved it too.. al though some scenes felt a little rushed to me.. and its gonne take a while before im gonna like Keller, she just aint as good as Carson.

Not much of Teyla..

Midway station scenes were also a little bit meh..

I loved that they let Zelenka do his thing without Rodney shouting at him all the time but them 2 working together in sync, it was lovely! Puddlejumper scenes were great also!

overall great episode though.

Next week is gonna be great I hope!

I agree about the rushed thing, and it is very sad without Carson, but at least Keller is a familiar far. :wub:

I thought the mid-way station scene was really cool, but like you say, rushed. Maybe if they'd split it all into three episodes for the start of the new season it'd have been nicer. :hmmm:

I agree about Zelenka, but I was thinking with Sam, Rodney and Zelenka I hope to God Zelenka isn't put on the shelf with Buzz Lightyear. As for the Puddle-Jumper scene, since when did they have ~20 bloody jumpers? That was quite silly in my opinion.

I agree that the episode was good, but I wish it was a 2 hr opener instead of waiting till next week.

Dont they have that many ever since the episode "The Tower" (http://www.gateworld.net/atlantis/s2/215.shtml) i think in the end they say something like "we got a cupple of jumpers and drones out of it"

your in for one helluva ride, i suggest you watch stargate in the following order

Stargate original movie

Sg1 Season 1-7

Then Watch Season 1 of Atlantis and Season 8 of Sg1 and the rest is history =)

Well. I have just watched the movie actually. But I have to say, the series reminds me of the budget Hercules and Xena had lol. It's very cheap some times.

The story is intriguing though. But I'm a person who wants closure, and I heard they made Atlantis since you don't get all the answers in SG1. Even after 10 damn seasons.

STill a channel here in Norway has started to air it, and it's atleast better than watching many of the newer series thats out today.

The movie triggered a lust within me to see all the mysteries of the universe explained. If you get me. Then can the series possibly deliver that promise? Even though it is fictional, is it worth starting all the way from year one to see something that probably does not get resolved?

Alright, now TV4 in my country is airing season 1 near completion. Does it matter if theres some episodes I have not seen from season one? I dont think I saw the first 2-3 episodes.

Season 4 sure have strarted good I must say hope they keep it up.

However i dont like the commande of the apollo prefered the captain of the deadulos (how the heck do you spell that!)

I agree the season is starting off very strong and Dr Canada now pretty much gone is a huge bonus. I did notice that Carter's age is really starting to show, she is looking like a grandma now.

well her imdb says she is 43. Also found out a small spoiler while going through Stargates IMDB page which would explain something I actually noticed while watching the last episode...

Teyla is pregnant in real life so they are going to write it into the script. I guess this maens that she might be the one "taking over" command since she wont be able to go out on missions

Ah, that totally explains why she's done shit all in the past two episodes, I thought the writers were trying to push her away or something. How in Hell did you notice that though? I still think she looks DAMN fine.

There are a few scenes that clearly show some belly hanging over the top of her pants. At first I was wondering why they would show it and not edit it out, but I guess they were trying to establish it.

lol i knew somethign was up, this was teh first time i noticed her stomach, i was like wait someone must be making fun of her on the set right now lol, and the i realized tht she might be preggo.

anyways dudes, has anyone seen that leaked episode 4? our dear friend steve jobs and itunes accidentally released it lol. i think it might be out in the internets right now heheh.
