There is no hard confirmation on which characters are going. The only info so far is Carter is set to be in most of next years Atlantis episodes and Weir is being downgraded from a main character to a reoccurring(so she will only pop up from time to time). They also said they plan on making Atlantis a lot "darker" which means I guess they want to go a little more BSG and little less Star Trek

It is the first fall premiere ever for a Stargate series, which have debuted in the summertime every year for a decade. SCI FI began a new program of year-round originally programming in 2006, leading to the 3-month delay of the second half of the current season.

Jewel Staite (Firefly) also joins the cast in a recurring role, Atlantis chief medical officer Dr. Keller. Staite -- who played the Wraith girl Ellia in Season Two's "Instinct" -- will appear in the season finale and is currently on board for eight episodes in Season Four.

Wow what an episode.....very much the dark side of teal'c but kinda wrong in so many ways....I dont think he would have turned his back on sg1, nor would they on him as easily as that was all played out to be. Nevertheless, it all was cleaned up in the last few minutes....besides it was a good ep so i'll let it slide.

Finally got some time to watch it last night and it was more violent than your usual sg1 episode. It kind of stuck out like that Atlantis episode where that guy playing chess kept saying 'Son of a Bitch' to the point it seemed kind of excessive for what the show is.

Just noticed that Amanda Tapping is going to be a main actor in new series, Sanctuary. The series premieres April 1st, might be interesting series. :yes:

Richard Dean Anderson might also pop up in few episodes too and there is some SG1 people behind this series.

Only episodes I seem to enjoy r the ones with Ori in it.

yea as TPTB said it was the funniest ending scene ever.. i was laughing real hard right there!

Ending was great, dunno about the episode. It's just "poor writing". They either out of ideas, or waiting for something big. 2 more episodes to go, hope it turns around a bit.

Why should every episode be about the Ori? IMO the last ep's have been great.

Whats up with the comic relief all the friggin time? It's hard to take Stargate sg-1 serious anymore. I just hope they pull their act together for the ending.

Yup, I suppose it's because people though Jack was hilarious and now they lost him so they make lots of tiny shitty jokes that shouldn't be in any episodes.

Season 10 of stargate is the last series... EUREKA, a series that started on SCI-FI about the time it was known SG-1 was cancled (as far as I know). They are disappointed at SCI-FI for not ordering more episodes (the ppl in charge)...

Nah, it was revealed that SG-1 was gonna be closed the night that s10e06 aired (I remember 'cause it's the 200th episode and everyone was celebrating... Until they got the new bad news of course) which was 18th August and Eureka started exactly a month before that, 18th of July. It was around the same time I suppose, but a month is quite far off so I don't think it's that relevant, though I'm sure it is a reference to Eureka but I don't think it's about it airing at the same time, I think it's about something else. :hmmm:
