have to agree with that last crap, i didnt get it. I have to say though these past few episodes have been nothing but filler and BS, and imo SG-1 in its what 10 seasons was better than this, and I mean practically every single episode was good and these stupid sci-fi ppl wanna drop that show, what a bunch of idiots.

SG-1 was a cool episode, nothing to say about it thought to be honest... Other than I missed Daniel of course.

Its been 2 days since the release so Im not going to post spoiler tags...

I was was sort of disappointed that they would kill off a semi central character in a filler episode and in such a lame way. They could have at the very least used it to fuel a multi episode story arch. I also agree that the whole Rodney thing at the end way too cheesy almost as silly as the Teyla busting out a song episode. On the bright side we got the very first "official" hinting of a Sheppard/Teyla romance.

One more thing that kind stuck out in a really lame sort of unnecessary way was having that one guy playing chess constantly say "Son of a bitch".

There are so many ways they could given that this Stargate and Scifi :p . Some people at gateworld are hoping like me that they find a way to bring him back sometime later down the road. Some are saying he might have ascended but i agree that he died too suddenly and would not have had the time to ascend, others are saying that rodney would be ridden with guilt and maybe through some time travel he might find a way to reverse this, others are saying a parallel dimension carson , but then that wouldn't really be Carson

I read that the replacment for Carson will be played by the actress playing "Kaylee" in Firefly (and the movie Serenity). That makes two of the Firefox actresses now on a Stargate show...

Semi-central? He was on the main start-up.

I do think the Teyla singing episode was cheesy but I feel the Rodney thing was natural, not sure why.

And I also agree with your point about the chess guy, that was annoying, he could have easily said something slightly different like "God damn it" the second time. :-/

Actually its Kaylee and the show was Firefly

...anyways I check IMDB and she was actually already on the show before (i didnt know this). She played the wraithe girl in that episode where the medicine man guy raised her from a child a thought he developed a cure using the herbal medicines. If it turns out that it is her that is going to be the 'new' doctor I wonder of they somehow tie that past character into the storyline even though she was (allegedly) killed. These scifi shows always need to have the bad guy who turns good to help out the humans and that element is missing in this series, of course they will need to sexier her up a bit.

@ferris: I consider the mains of the show to be Sheppard, Rodney, and Dr. Canada . Everyone else who is in the main credits is a semi-main I.e Tayla, Ronan, Carson, etc.

People, the other websites have it wrong. The airing order is the episode order, and nothing else. Stop saying the order is all wrong because it is clearly not.

Unless you think it's strange that carson died in episode 14 yet appears to be alive in 15/16/17

The production order is not always the same as the airing order anyway, so please stop complaining about this.

The atlantis episode was shit imo, but I'm starting to get used to it. The writers must REALLY be out of ideas but there is nothing other than pointless fillers. Atleast SG-1's "fillers" were interesting.
