The atlantians created them as a mechanical weapon to fight the wraith on a nano level, they evolved out of the 'mechanical' form and bonded with organic tissue. creating their human form.

They evolved from tiny nanites into humans. (Well, actually they still are tiny nanites, they just managed to form a human body (and tweak it a little bit). AFAIK they have nothing to do with wraith at all.

Edit: Argl, chomeop was faster than me... :-)

wasnt the atlantis ep pretty much the same as the sg1 ep when they took advantage of that nice replicator to put them in the time warp.

Pretty much the same. It bugs me that the nice one was turned back even though he had the "newer" update. Doesnt make much scence

He wasn't "the nice one" anymore as he was updated, and considering how hard the replicators are to kill they had no choice really...

TBH i think its super lame that SG:Canada is so lazy as to totally reuse a "replicator" type enemy and than to even use the "betrayal" against the nice one is inexcusable.

Imo SGA had a great episode after 3 weeks of failure, they spent a little bit more money on special effects and boom! Well, as for replicatiors I think it's a bit silly to use the same enemy all over again.

SG1 was as good as usually. No comments :=)

I just hope that the overall humorous and special concept of the 200th episode is offset by a decent SGA episode. Not that I mind "The 200", not at all, it's looking awesome, but I'd like to get at least one of the storylines moving somewhere

RDA is so damn cool, all his comments when Carter explains some tech stuff, he seriously owns, too bad he's not a regular in the show anymore.

OMG, George Hammond will be in the episode aswell, he's also awesome!

no sg1 airs at 9pm the special is on at 8
