No, it's filmed in the same studio (huge studio) as SG-1, well, not the same one, but it's next door.

Ontopic: SG1 Episode was Great and the Atlantis one gave me a good laugh so it's all good ;p

Both SG1 and SGA are filmed in Vancouver, Canada

X-Files was also filmed in Canada. It's just cheaper for American companies to film outside the country than in the US.

While true both are filmed in Canada at least SG1 makes the effort to get non annoying Canadian accented actors which totally throws off what little illusion the show has. Like we are to believe canadians would be doing all that great stuff when in reality they would be watching hockey and complaining while Americans do all the work.

I don't have a problem with Wier and McKay (I think they're the Canadians) ... Infact I think both characters are awesome and have no problem with their accents.

Possibly, but it's mainly Canadians hating Americans.
And we dont have accents, that's how you know a Canadian. No southern accent and we talk faster than Yankees.

They do have accents; they just don't want to admit it. Also, they don't like to admit that they say 'eh' after almost everything they say. :giggle:

we dont hate them at all. We just so enjoy stroking their inferiority complex about being the 51st state or that they started a country and nobody showed up.

Its not just the accent but I personally cannot stand Weirs character (I love McKay's). I think that Teyla would a much better character to be in charge at atlantis.

Tbh, of all the SGA characters, I like John the most. Him and Mitchell, somehow both play a similar character.. the leader of the team... doesnt know all too much but come with suprising ideas from time to time... very much alike RDA's character.

Beckett is ok, typical dcotorfigure, but with a funny accent. Ronon was really cool at first... he was this uber warrior who could kick everyone's ass. But right now, his only purpose in the story is to be the guy that pulls out his gun first and sorts things out later.
Aiden Ford was cool as well... he was the guy you could rely on.. too bad they made him evil.

Weir is stupid. I don't like the character, not sure if that has anything to do with Torri playing her.
McKay.. gotta admit, he makes me laugh but it gets a bit old now. Drop the attitude, invent something new.
Teyla .. hmm.. she play this "i'm so old and so much wiser than you" character.. but at the same time.. she's so na�ve.

It just feels like the characters stopped evolving.

Beckett and Zelenka ftw! Sheppard is OK, too. And that young Canadian guy who hangs out in the control room as well. Others are just... dunno. Either naive, annoying, stupid or just not worth noting.

Ok, Canadians do say "eh". Maby not everyone, but the majority, its ture... I personaly say it 1 or of 10 sentences. Just cant help it :'-(

I have eh problem.

Groentje Mentioned Ford. I was wondering if hes out for good, or when they will squeeze him into an episode. I dont think he is evil, he was just mis guided, and he saw alot of his new followers get killed, and helped sheppard get off the hive, hes a reformed man. or is he? :blink:

My prediction is that there will be a episode where a hive/wraith ship is coming to destroy the team and at the last second when they are about to be vaporized you'll hear Ford's voice over the walkie talkie asking them if they need a ride, its the SG standard reintroduction of a character.

Tbh, I can't remember the last ep with Ford in it. Was it the one with him trying to drug the sga people ?

Anyways, Ford changed, he got "evil" or not ... either way, just as Micheal shows us.. there is no place for them as a part of the SGA team, only as a prisoner or science object.

I liked Ford before he changed, but the thing is, they changed him, there were a few eps with him coming back.. .. evil... and he went off again ... I really hope he won't appear to rescue sga... coz in the end he would only have to disappoint us again with his twisted views... and disappear into the darkness again. Bringing Ford back in an ep would only show that the writers are out of stories. So many things are already repeating. Stop disappointing the viewers before they stop watchin !

On the browse page, for the last two eps, SGA has came out two and a half hours after SG1, but does anyone know why it takes this long since I'm pretty sure it airs straight after SG1 so it should only be an hour after, right?

Anyway, I'm going to go watch SG1 now - bye.

They might only have one North American East cost capper, so getting two shows right after the other may be impossible.

I won't be uploading SGA if it doesn't come out soon, I've recently been sick, (I'm okay now though) and staying up being so tired so it makes you feel sick again is not really good. But I want to give it to you as soon as fastest possible.

SGA was actually really good. Starts kinda slow, but was actually a really good ep.

Now stargate infinity.... really disapointing! (Just got season1)
