You know, I _was_ rather disappointed with episode 19 - the previous episodes of season nine were getting better and better from a rather disappointing beginning, but an episode with like no action and with Vala? Please. However number 20 looks mighty interesting!

It was more of a setup episode for next weeks season finale which should be ridiculously good from the previews.

This is a partial plot spoiler for the upcoming SG1 episode. Don't highlight it if you don't want to know what partially happens in the next episode.

"SG-1 visits an alien world where a village of people live by the English legend of King Arthur. The team is seeking an Ancient weapon once in the possession of the mythical wizard Merlin, who they now know was one of the Ancients who returned to Earth from Atlantis 10,000 years ago ("Avalon, Part 1"). The village is called Camelot, and its people believe it to be the once and future home of King Arthur, who will return to reclaim his throne after finding the "Sangraal" -- the Holy Grail.

There SG-1 seeks the help of Antonius, the local village historian who is an expert on Arthurian legend. Antonius is reluctant to lead Colonel Mitchell and Dr. Jackson to Merlin's library, which is sealed and believed to be cursed, under guard from the black knight. Many among them believe that Merlin was a wizard of darkness; his name is rarely mentioned publically. According to Antonius, Merlin was born as a result of a union between a human and a demon.

At Camelot the team also meets with Meurik, the village governor, and with Valencia, a 16-year-old girl who is something of a swordsman. But she has no aspirations to follow that path, believing it is for the young boys to prepare themselves for knighthood.

SG-1 convinces Antonius to let them into Merlin's library, assuring him that they've defeated Merlin's knights before -- and tempting him with the volumes and volumes of history that no doubt lay inside. What they find is just that -- walls and walls of great interest to a historian, but apparently no advanced technology.

But when Mitchell stumbles upon a hidden chamber, Antonius takes his leave, believing they have tempted fate enough already. Inside the team finds an Ancient control panel.

Will the team find the weapon they are seeking -- and can it help them in the immanent war with the Ori? And what will become of the village of Camelot when the black knight is released?"

there is a huge difference between a spoiler for the most recent episode that some poeple may not have watched and one for an upcoming episode that hasnt aired, its just basic forum edicate that you place a warning for the later.

A spoiler is a spoiler imo.

But i'll edit it by saying it's a plot spoiler for the next episode.

Just finished watching it and it was great especially the last 10minutes during the huge space fight.

I found the fight a little bit dissapointing, we only saw the Asgard ship once but it was cool how they both fired at Korelev and penetrated the shield.

#562049 by jbladeDonor (First Line Support) at 2006-03-11 05:48:06 (7 years ago) - [Report]Top

Which ship got distroyed? I couldn't tell, was it the U.S. one or the Russian one?

#562052 by unknown[19778] at 2006-03-11 06:05:00 (7 years ago) - [Report]Top

Korelev puts up a good fight.  Took maybe around 5 shots and then bam space dust.

#562053 by JaffaDonor (User) at 2006-03-11 06:05:17 (7 years ago) - [Report]Top

sometimes i wish the scriptwriters would focus a bit more on the wraith <> atlantis resident fight, build the series around that like BSG does with humans <> cylons.   A lot of the episodes from this season feel like filler-material with no real purpose.. there's a sprinkling of wraith stuff in a few episodes and whatnot, but a lot of wasted time when it could be used better.  *shrug* ..  I like the series, not as much as BSG or the Shield but it's a fun distraction for now.

im guessing the american one, because there was noone from sg1 on it.  carter was in space, tealc was on the other ship, and jackson and oneil where in the russian one.  i may be mistaken though

wow oneill, he was in the episode? i think your either mistaken or have no clue whats going on

its mitchell and daniel on the other ship, and from the ending sequence(last few seconds)it pretty much looked likethe entire earth/asgard/tokra/free jaffa/lucian alliance fleet had been vaporised.

my question to any insider reading this, whos giving carter a lift home? and if not will there be an episode were shes fuffocating to death and somehow knocks her head and is hallucinating that mckay is there helping her?

< big fan of symetry!

******************WARNING NEXT SEASON SPOILER************************
well it could be!!!

DO NOT HIGHLIGHT IF YOU WISH TO BE KEPT IN SUSPENCE

I think that vala is carrying the second coming of merlin as they say that they were waiting and somehow vala seems to be about to give birth just at the right time
