I liked this episode.

I thought, if they wanted to communicate back they couldve morse coded right? - not for reading the ancient (cause sam cant do that) but just to communicate better, maybe say third symbol from second row

You can see a very short preview of the Ori ships on http://www.scifi.com/stargate/
They look pretty cool.

Vala takes over daniels body with the long range communication device and warns us that the Ori are planning a major invasion (2nd beachhead on ripple effect). like the preview shows the Ori get into the gate and probably arrive in the milky way in the end of the episode.

This new episode is awesome.

We see how the Ori ships look like and we see exactly what the Ori warriors look like.
We also get to see the staff weapon which appears to be far more effective than the Jaffa staff weapon.

From the preview, we can conclude that atleast 1 Ori ship sustains severe damage (or gets destroyed) and 1 Ha'Tak gets destroyed. We also see an Asgard O'neill class ship which fires on an Ori ship (most likely the cause of the damaged/destroyed Ori ship)

I think we also see aprox 5 Ori ships firing on the Asgard O'neill class ship and it still managed to survive it (didn't actually see this but someone else mentioned it when he was watching it in slowmotion)

The Asgard ships have a lot of generators to power their shields (remember the part in which Thors ship was in earths orbit with the replicators? He said that the older [and smaller] ship had 4 generators (if i'm correct), so maybe they indeed can take the blasts from ori ships. Remember the satellite that destroyed prometheus? It's likely the ships have the same weapons.

I have a lot of faith in the asgard fleet. Cant wait to see them in real action (although we did see 4-5 ships fire at the replicator ship in an earlier episode.

Besides, the O'Neill class look way better and I cant imagine an asgard ship being destroyed... They are so cute and talk funny. :blush:

Oh boy! This will be one of the most facinating season finale ever.

That trailer is the mother of all previews.

And also, it's not clear wether the ori ship or the asgard ship was destroyed in the fight. But the hatak's crew is in a better place for sure.

Bring on episode 20!

It's the Ori ship exploding as you can see it's right next to the other ship
And yes, i think the asgard shields are strong enough to take on several blasts from the Ori ships where 1 blast would give us severe damage.

Eventhough we have asgard shield technology, our ship is simply way too small to give the shield enough power to make it as strong as the asgards have it on their ships.

You know, I _was_ rather disappointed with episode 19 - the previous episodes of season nine were getting better and better from a rather disappointing beginning, but an episode with like no action and with Vala? Please. However number 20 looks mighty interesting!
