Well Prometheus was a test ship, the daedalus was the final 'product' and i assume Odessy will have alot more improvements than the daedalus has. I wouldn't be suprised if this ship would actually work without an asgard controlling half the systems

About that new ship...

They now have the ancient aurora class ship,

maybe they will extract or atleast study the shield technology (and more?), because from what we've seen ancient shields are superior to anything the asgard or others have to offer.

But as it's already completed or nearing completion I doubt we'll be seeing anything truly ancient on earth ships for a while if ever. :-/

Don't forget we have already have ancient technology on atlantis and a shitload of data from which we can learn lots from

I wouldn't be suprised if they've made some improvements that have something to do with anything they've found.

And i also think that we will see alot of action from our aurora class ship in season 3, i mean, this might actually be a ship that can destroy a hiveship rather than us emptying our ammo on a hiveship doing no real damage what so ever. (which pretty much makes the daedalus useless)

Yeah I was wondering... can the deadalus take a hive ship without beaming a nuke aboard?

The only thing we know for sure is the the deadalus can take one fuck-ton of a beating with those uber shields...

Well, maybe if they had the ZPM powering up their shields they'd stand a chance, but since they left it on Atlantis, I dont think so...

I still cant believe the Prometheus was blown away. They'd had needed it now that the Wraiths are headed for Earth... Damn Ori... I feel we're gonna see a new manmade vessel...

The last sg-1 episode was satisfactory, but nothing more really... Why are these scene "jumps" becoming so frequent? One moment the bad guys are interrogating him and the next scene is a run for the gate. :-/
