Nice,  they have a new ship. And that wraith ship will probably be good for training
But how many people did they evacuate anyway? Didn't look much.

HAHA I love the part when they were trying to name the ship! LOL I laughed so loud when they came up with the first name!

hiring hundreds or maybe thousand of people for the show would be expensive, so they spilt them up.

and btw this episode was amazing, the best in a long time.

Yeah great episode and I love the fact they are starting to get more into the spaceship aspect of scifi.

I think that the hive ship that is approaching is the one that is led by the star trek guy.

Maybe the other Ships are hidden? Because I thing it's a bit curious that only 1 ship appeared on their scanner...

maybe theyre cloaking the other ships (wouldnt make sense not to cloak the last ship). He couldve learned cloaking from the Atlantis base..

is this still a spoiler?

Atlantis joins forces with a Wraith faction led by Michael, the Wraith they tried to turn into a human, who seeks their help in destroying their common enemies

My guess: Micheal with the wraith faction who comes to say hello

#523761 by unknown[4522] at 2006-01-26 21:16:45 (7 years ago) - [Report]Top

Really good episode I wonder if the next will be as good, since the last episodes of season 1 was really good also.

and by the way I really think they should have named it Enterprise....... Come on Orion how silly is that might as well have named it "this is a bucket of flying bolts".

A 100 wraith ships could come and Rodney would still save them all.

I was just wondering, where's the latest episode of SG-1? The air date was 27. of january, right?

#525365 by unknown[89507] at 2006-01-28 09:22:13 (7 years ago) - [Report]Top

I bet that Tealc is brainwashed and Baal is still alive. It was all a sham to plant an agent within SG1. The staff he blasted Baal with was probably tuned down a bit, just enough to singe Baal's clothing.

Whatcha think?

Baahl also has like 6 clones of himself

sweet. Bring on the Baal Clone Army!

#527014 by unknown[69995] at 2006-01-29 22:55:54 (7 years ago) - [Report]Top

The thing I don't understand is that none of Baal's clones shows any anomalies due to repeated cloning. I'm only assuming Baal doesn't have perfect cloning technology since it's been said the Asgard  are having problems with their cloning process: every new clone's DNA is deteriorated compared to the original.

I mean, in theory the writers could have dozens of Baal's running around. Not that it would make for good story telling. But, considering how Anubis kept coming back, I wouldn't be very surprised to see a filler ep with him again.

The Asgard (or Åsgård) have been cloning themselves for several hundred years since they lost the ability to procreate themselves. Thats why they are starting to get defects in their clones. Cloning clones over and over again screws up the DNA or whatever the hell they said. Like copying a copy over and over. In the end its just gibberish.
Baahl has just cloned himselv like 6 or 7 times.

edit:

btw, anyone know when the next atlantis is out?

stargate.atlantis.s02e20, what a cracker of an episode!

I was looking at the clock less than a couple of minutes before the end and thinking, " oh no, there wont be enough time to conclude it which means a 'to be continued' sign goes up".

#528283 by unknown[89507] at 2006-01-31 09:09:48 (7 years ago) - [Report]Top

July 16th, so it's more than 3 month

#528305 by unknown[58932] at 2006-01-31 09:52:43 (7 years ago) - [Report]Top

More likely on July 14th - typical Sci-Fi Friday (SG-1, SGA, BSG) on Sci-Fi Channel in USA, so only 164 days left  :/
Luckly we still have SG-1, till March 10th that is.
