and recently watched them all in a marathon. The funniest moment in the entire series is in the Ascension episode. Jack and Teal'c have just gone over to carters to see if she was ok after what they believed to be some kind of halucenation. Their on the way back to the van when
There ain't really much more to say about Weir. Her character is, um, weird, pun intended. She's way too much of a 'good mother' of the Atlantis team than their leader or a major figure. And somehow I get the feeling she doesn't contribute anything to the show, both as an actor as well as a character (she was a diplomat I believe? hello? diplomacy? hi, wraiths? another new galaxy with a gazillion of new scientific possibilities where diplomacy ain't quite what people need? uh-oh I say).
