Anybody checked the new show from Amanda Tapping? Sanctuary or what it was called.

Just was wondering is it any good?

Yeah Sanctuary.

I like it so far, even though I feel the web pilot was better. The TV pilot was a bit slow paced. But it should pick up from now on. I certainly feel it has potential and the green screen stuff (which is almost everthing) is actually quite good most of the time.

So anyone wanna start theorising on who those guys in armor are?
My guess is that these people infact are remainings of the ancients. Who became exposed to the subspace signal, which made them unable to live normally. Perhaps thats why they constructed the armor, to avoid the subspace blocking "end-machine".

My reason for this theory is because of Doctor Jackson. A specialist on the ancients. There has to be a reason they chose to put him in the episode.And also, this is the last season of Atlantis, and what would be the ultimate discovery to end the whole show? Well, bring back the ancients! And learn the mysteries of the universe.

Also, they titled the episode "First contact". Which similiar to Star Trek, introduced earthlings to a far more advanced civilization, which ultimatly became their allies.

Great episode!

Asgard coming out of the suit was WTF!

Glad I dont read spoilers cuz it would have ruined the episode for me.

Only problem was MS wasnt that good in this episode, more annoying then funny or w/e they were trying to accomplisch with him. The talk with the guy in the suit is also BS. Ah well.

Oh and I almost forgot were the hell did col Caldwell suddenly go to? I didnt see him at all in this episode yet he was on the ship in epi 10 right? Sigh sometimes I hate how they fix everything so fast...

a shame that part of the story ended so fast, i just hope that the ones that escaped will return again later on in a badass showdown finale.

And it's back to the dead for Atlantis.
Seriously liked the first part better, but was still exciting to see this one as well.

When that asgard stepped out of the suit, my jaw dropped. Then I realised it was of course not Thor, it was an asgard bitch instead. And I got annoyed.

Of course the creators had to find some way of putting the asgards in Atlantis too, even though they supposedly died collectively together in SG1.

THey had the replicators, now they have the asgards. I wonder what they will actually do for the show.

they shouldve had the asgards before they went into diminishing returns or something and made them look cooler, like black skin or something. or better yet furlings!

in sg1 big story lines like these where 3 part episodes in SG Atlantis it finishes always to fast,the end is a bit rushed thats one of the reason that it isn't as good as sg1.

what i can recall, big story arcs in SG-1 could even span upto about 6-7 episodes atleast.

i got no idea what this is about but i remember in SG1 i think episode was called beach head or something about those aliens that took over SG1 command and could imitate people by linking the real ones into some sort of bio web thing that hung them up, well at end episode the alienswere repelled and we never knew or saw from them again in entire series of SG1, never was explained were they came from, who they were either, would be cool if they made some sort of come back.

Most of the aliens in Foothold committed suicide by making their suits self-destruct in the gate-room, though I think some did escape back to their home world. It would be nice to meet them again but SG-1 is over now and SG-A is in a different Galaxy so unless Cetramarius is correct about the writers stealing all of SG-1's races we won't be seeing them again.

SG:A is not good anymore. Bring back SG:1 and O�Neil!
Maybe shoot the "new" doctor, I cant stand her. Make Teyla pregnant again, and abandon her with her people.

Or just make her into a Wraith again and kill her.

I just put the last suggestion into a spoiler, but if you have watched Season 5, Ep 8: The Queen then it wont spoil anything

It was kinda bad, they show in the middle that those villagers have guns. Why didnt they just all take their guns and go kill the wraith at the gate?

U can skip episode 13... its a frigging clip show episode... only good thing was Woolsey but the rest was just lame..
