Definitely a great episode given the start of Season 5

It's almost a shame they've been cancelled now, at the very least i hope we get to see the new bad guys more in this season, and more in the movies, preferably with lots of "oh shit" stuff in it

My hindsight says definitely no, pretty major spoiler

It's a pretty big spoiler, i would say even more so than back when the Ori was introduced and we got to know them before the airing.

By the way I swear I have heard the Attero or something name before in the show. When? Or is it just bad memory.

Oh and I bet the resolution will have something to do with the warping Daedalus and borg zombies from that other episode.

OMG !!! I just saw the last episode. That was amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It looks like they've been sparing money from the last crappy episodes, to be able to afford this one
And Doctor Jackson Could not have asked for anything better.

So anyone wanna start theorising on who those guys in armor are?
My guess is that these people infact are remainings of the ancients. Who became exposed to the subspace signal, which made them unable to live normally. Perhaps thats why they constructed the armor, to avoid the subspace blocking "end-machine".

My reason for this theory is because of Doctor Jackson. A specialist on the ancients. There has to be a reason they chose to put him in the episode.And also, this is the last season of Atlantis, and what would be the ultimate discovery to end the whole show? Well, bring back the ancients! And learn the mysteries of the universe.

Also, they titled the episode "First contact". Which similiar to Star Trek, introduced earthlings to a far more advanced civilization, which ultimatly became their allies.

Episode 11 airs on October 10 according to TV.com. Can't wait to see it, ep 10 was the best of the season so far.
