shepard and ronon werent exactly great either but always ok to watch. only highlight of the show imo always was mckay ...

but, to be fair, atlantis had to bear a heavy burden right from the beginning, as many saw it as a spiritual successor to SG1, and the atlantis team team couldnt even scratch the surface of the brilliance that was o'neill, jackson, carter and teal'c ...

if they would have kept the first DR. Weir that was in SG-1 before season 6 (i think?) it would have been so much greater, she didnt have that arrogant tone and look as the current one had, and she was alot hotter.

yeah the only way they couldve redeemed themselves after starting the episode like that would be to have sheppard and beckett using heaps of sexist jokes and lots of friendly butt slapping

Infact, theres nothing left to defend earth against either. Neither replicator, ori or goa'uld. This must be why the show sucks, Atlantis is no longer needed by earth.

Well, I for one will be watching assiduously to SGA until it's end, I just hope they finish on a good note.
Also I'm kind of looking forward to SGU, since it more or less follows the premise of a show I liked:
Star Trek Voyager, I can't wait to see what they do with it. :-)

Ofcourse no SG series will ever compare to SG-1 , did you actually think atlantis would ? Universe is going to be even farer from SG-1 than atlantis. oneill, jackson best duo ever, tealc and carter and hammond also good. Best 5 ever.

I hope not. She just isnt good enough wihtout the original team, so better get new actors for this show to have a fresh start.

The only ppl I wanna see in this show is either Daniel Jackson or Mckay.

Seeing as she had to drop out of SGA to do "Sanctuary", I can't see that happening. As much as I love Amanda Tapping, I would like to see her doing something other than Stargate. That goes for the rest of the great cast of SG1 as well.

We've seen some of Shanks in 24, Eureka and Burn Notice...hope we'll see others some more too.

I'm a bit sad to se SGA go. But in a way it's the right thing to do. S5 has not been that great so far, and there is nothing that holds the interest really. They need to have a ongoing story that comes back and plays a big part over the course of the season. They usually always have it...replicators, wraith and Genii. Thought they were gonna do something with the Repli-Weir story, but seemed more like an end than a beginning to me. And seeing as we haven't even seen the Wraith after 7 eps (I'm not counting Michael as a Wraith anymore), the creators must have lost the plot and have no idea where they want to take the show anymore. I mean the Wraith are suppose to have won over the "mighty" ancients, and are supposed to be all desperate for food and getting to a new rich feeding ground in Earth...for a hungry lot they sure seem quiet.

I'm not getting my hopes up for Universe though. It sound sort of interesting, but I just got the feeling it has a 50-50 chance of beeing crap. But as for Atlantis. It may be good to only see movies in the future. They can then get away with doing a one off story in movies, but a show usually needs to have something running throughout the seasons.

Prolly in mid-July 2009, just like all the stargate seasons have started.

Last episode hasnt been rlsd yet, grr. Need a fix.

The new SGA ep IS out. BUT no scene release YET!.

Stargate.Atlantis.S05E08.HDTV.XviD-BitMeTV can be found, and another rls by a group called HiO(public p2p tracker)

Also i see SGA S4 DVDRips are out, shame its not all one group (ie each groupd did a few eps SAiNTS,FoV and RiVER)

Dont think i could careless atm if this show ends the way it is now.Only watching this cause well not much else out atm. Loved season 1-2 cause it hade some story and was intresting to watch but now O_o nothing makes sence to me with all the random episodes they show -_- loved the part where they showed next weeks ep,voice said get into the best stargate season ever! x_X i miss SG-1 now that was a damn good show

hahaha...well at least in Sanctuary, she gets a daughter.

I liked this last episode of SGA but I think they should have kept Teela on the Wraith ship rather than end it the way they did. It felt more like a two-part episode.

Yeh i think they burned out with ideas as how to continue with Wraith story

Focus on who is the main enemy has been shifted or blurred, Wraith is just some dying rat now and focus needs to be replaced with something new rising, all powerful ...

but what?

Leave it the SG:Canada to finally find a way to make Teyla interesting and they finish it off in a single episode. What a complete waste of a great story arch.
