I think you misunderstood me.

Even though the Goa'uld didnt create the ancient egyptian gods, they do degrade the gods in the series to evil parasitic beings.

And Jesus never wanted a sacrifice and such, i know that, which is why he would be an ascended ancient.

And this is not needed, its just fun to speculate about certain characters, atleast i think so.

forgive me if im wrong, but didnt Ra come to earth around 10000 BC? and the Egyptian History is estimated to have begun around 3100 B.C? if so and if you want to relate it to the egyptian culture in the real world then Ra would've been there when all the egyptian Gods were fabricated. So even though they say in SG1 that the goauld took many of their persona's from egyptian and other earth cultures that can't really make sense. Ra would've have had to destroy any evidence of Egyptian Gods prior to his arrival and continue to destroy them for 7000 years, then proceed to leave evidence of the same Egyptian Gods for the next few thousand years......seems kinda pointless to me

well obviously i cant prove it. But theres nothing to suggest not is there any proof that there actually is a "God" , hence its in peoples minds and its fiction. I have no intention of starting some religious argument, not at all. To me the idea of "Gods" being some advanced alien civilization is much much more likely then there being some unnatural mysterious being who controls our life.There will always people who think there is and people who think theres not a "God". just stating my opinion.Some just feel a sense of relief and comfort when they have faith.

Ive read about the next episode, and it sounds very interesting. I`d really like to see what that "replicator ascension" is all about. Cant wait :thumbsup:

This should be an interesting season, seems to be a load of episodes showing a fortnight after the previous one. Hopefully they'll air in Canada without the skips so we can get them without the waiting.

They aired alongside each other, so the best would be taking each episode in turn. But that's a bit too fiddly, personally I'd watch s7 (SG-1), then s1 (SG-A), then s8 (SG-1), then s2 (SG-A), then s9 (SG-1), then s3 (SG-A), then s10 (SG-1), then s4 (SG-A), then s5 (SG-A).

Basically, one series of SG-1, then one series of Atlantis, that way you can't go too wrong.

Chris Judge (Teal'c) always wanted it but year after year the directors told him that he wasn't allowed, then eventually they gave in.

damn, wasn't expecting to have to wait another week for the next ep. well, well.. good things worth the wait.

btw, nothing odd about tealcs hair, the really weird thing is the ep, cant remember which, when sg1 returns to sgc and Tealc has a fking blond goatee! we never got an explanation why right? just an avasive answer, like "long story", when gen. hammond asks about it.
