Im sort of ho hum on Atlantis now, but Ill keep watching only because Ive invested so much time into the SG franchise. They really need to retool the show by making it darker with a better supporting cast and bring in a more consitant "Head Bad Guy" that doesnt change every episode.

BTW I believe the day Teyla 'Jumped the Shark' for me was when she busted out the song in that one episode....

So three episodes into this season, does anyone have a clue about where we are heading. So far all of these episodes have pretty much been fillers. I sense no greater plot being layed out here.

Wraith are pretty lame, especially Michal. They should have killed off that character long ago, but he keeps coming back. :rant:

I mean, come on, they are in another galaxy, can't they come up with some NEW alien threats.

Woosley is a nice addition to the cast though. There is a lot of potential for that character, since his way of doings things has always led to confrontation in the past (on sg-1).

Damn, I had almost forgotten about him. Haha, now I dont understand why this is even called Stargate. Compare the wraith with Anubis lol. They're like a bug problem compared to him.

I think we see and learn WAYYYYYYYYYY too little of the ancients in Atlantis, they are actually living in Atlantis.

Oh man that episode when Teyla sings, it was kind of a WTF moment. I can't stand her either personally, she's pretty terrible.

I, too, hate her. She brings nothing to the show. Apart from wimpiness, being lame, stupid and other things associated with being a woman. Even Vala was a better character! I never thought I would say that.

I thought her real life pregnancy (she was, wasn't she?) would be a great excuse for the makers to get rid of her. Guess I was wrong. Come on, Teyla, we would totally support you if you decided to quit the team and never again appear on the show! Do it for your experimented-upon-by-evil-wraith baby or something!

Though it's not gonna happen, I'm afraid.

They better bring in some more ancients soon and kill off teyla, like everyone else has said, WHY did she even have to start that dam singing?
And hopefully the next episode tomorrow will be awesome and exciting seeing as what they are showing us in the preview.

Yea this episde I liked alot, nice fast pace and alot of team interaction! I lol''d when Sheppard called Ronon chewie and ronon smashed the control panel :giggle:

Also why in hell does Mckay ALWAYS say when he has to fix somehting " GIMME 1 SEC!!!!" :giggle:

Enemy was oke maybe we get to see them later this season.. but I wonder what the main plot this season is gonne be like cuz I havent seen anything developing yet

I hate episodes about alternative reality, but hopefully they'll introduce those new aliens in the 'real' universe.

I had two hard loud laughs in this episode. First was whem Sheppard called Ronan Chewie lol, that was so dead on good. And second was when McKay was shot haha, he's such a whimp.

Im also not a big fan of the alternate reality storylines since it seems like they were sitting in a creative meeting and couldn't come up with an idea and they just said "fuck it lets do the other dimension thing again". That said if they can bring those new aliens it would be great and hopefully they spend a little more time working on the appearance since I've seen kids do better work on their Halloween costumes.

Wow, that was pretty good! Not sure it moved the show forward storyline wise in any way but I enjoyed it. Borg, space fights, people shooting, what more do you want. My only problem is that I am kind of worried we might not see a lot of cgi eye candy in the coming episodes. Oh and that we still haven't seen the main story arc for the season.

Or have we? Hmmm...

Would be nice if the alternative daedalus had its drive from the borgish aliens and we would have an enemy capable of traveling thru realities hence seeing possible actions atlantians might take and aquairing technology and....assimilating....them to their borgish needs =D Micheal is not bad, but this would make the show more interesting and give more space to work with for the writers because I've almost lost all interest in Stargate franchise with the latest seasons of Atlantis which seems like mainly consists of filler episodes with no great add to the story =/

i dont think the borg would be a great enemy either for stargate, personally i think they need another enemy that can be related back to human mythology, either that or ninjas from the future with magical powers......or jedis. The best enemies in my mind were anubis and baal

Well Atlantis is in a different galaxy so I don't think getting an Earth mythology related enemy is going to happen. I'm afraid it will be a mixture of Michael The Wraith making a Oh So Surprising Comeback with Some More Unknown Wraiths and their Very Evil Plan.

But it would still be cool to show Jesus as an ancient, either good or bad.
Because seeing as what he supposedly did, he might have been an ascended ancient.

What the hell are you talking about dude? have you read any history or are you just talking out of your arse lol.

The parasites took upon themselves the gods that the Egyptians worshiped when they first encountered earth, hence they are all seemingly gods.

Also, even if an argument ever arises about why they haven't used Jesus, the man never wanted human sacrifice or some crazy shit, and he never pretended to be the God, he always maintained he was the son of God.

But in any case,this is science fiction, so why is it even needed that we talk about this?
