While reading some celebrity gossip the other day I can now see why they have replaced "Carter" with "Woolsey" in charge. Apparently Amanda Tapping is having a kid.

I think Woolsey is a better actor for the role of "boss" than her. Also she is getting a bit old and scifi tv shows need young hot chicks to attract the male audience and SG has always been a bit lame on that angle with their choices of the "hot chick".

they got Tala(sp?) for that and since this is not the Golden Girls they need to get some young hotties in the cast because the doctor chick isnt cutting it. If I were in charge Id find a way to introduce a storyline that brings in a half breed wraith/human chick (who wears tight skimpy outfits) or an outcast replicator who is trying to discover her humanity (and also wears a tight skimpy outfit)

I dont think it will be too believable if a hot twenty something were put in charge of Atlantis. Besides they can easily bring in some hotty and say its Woosley's daughter who just graduated college, problem solved.

Episode one isn't out yet, it was a pre-air release and it's unlikely we'll get anything more until the season starts officially. But to answer your question, July 11th is when episode one comes out so July 18th will be episode two.

note that the above isnt a "scene" encode. So no doubt once one of the "scene" groups get a copy of the DVD we will see another rip.

I thought it was great, although I almost said a great episode because that's all it is really just longer. I still can't believe the show has been cancelled, I would much rather have seen s11 of SG-1 that more Atlantis to be honest.

Anybody else notice the little joke where Daniel said about him being selfish hoping they would carry on without him, exactly the same as what Sheppard said to Ronan in that Atlantis pre-air of s5e01. :shifty:
