Yeah I know. They never did explain how they cured him either. He went into stasis... then suddenly was out.

Anyways, I hate waiting for the new episodes now.
Up until now, I have been watching Stargate as an old series, with the freedom of downloading entire seasons and watching several episodes a day. Now I'm gonna have to get used to one episode a week again. Sucks to be me

If you are refering to him being put in statis at the end of season 7 on the Lantean weapons platform, I suggest you watch the first 2 episodes of season 8 again

No, all I remember after that was he meeting with general landry playing chess and just bullshitting around life.

Well, then you missed out, since the asgard helped him... again.

Did you all know the last episode of SG1 is a copy of an old Star Trek episode?

It's airing on TV in Norway here right now. They are trapped in a time space continuum bubble....thing. The ships is firing at each other but locked in time and "appears to be moving extremely slow". Here however, a small shuttle from the outside is attempting to help them.

I've also seen many other episodes from Star Trek that have later been copied into SG1. And basically Worf = Tealc too.

Actually Aeryn gets stuck a few hours before Chrichton, and spends about 20-30 years there before he turns up, and she gets married and has a child.

Anyway what's wrong with sci-fi shows borrowing ideas from eachother, as long as it turns out good and isn't a direct copy.

I watch Next Generation on a regular basis now, each day on tv, and it's unbelievable how many episodes Stargate has borrowed from it. It's like, alot man.

it would be interesting to see if its just a few writers who steal the star trek eps

You aren't allowed to request uploads on this tracker.

We did have season eight, I suppose it got deleted because there were no seeders. That's what happens to FL packs.

i just found out a fine replacement for it : Star Trek : enterprise , and Dexter , somewhy his sick humor has attached me
older than enterprise is looking too bad quality... although i do remember blinks of DS9 from when i was little watching a few minutes of it in the Tv and not understanding a thing

the problem with the next gen is that it's too old graphics and the effects are bad compared to enterprise

loool, stargate doesnt have any good graphics either
thats one of the things I had to learn when watching the show, the effects are all low budget. even in Atlantis

I still can't get over how lame the event horison looks.

So true, for example Babylon 5 is over 10 years old and its effects back than are better than SG's are now.

I think the effects for SG-1 are fine, and great for a TV-show... The only reason it would look bad is compared to BSG's graphics, but so would any show. And I guess you're joking about Babylon 5's because they are plain awful, understandable though because of how old it is.

No man, theres no "it's good for a tv show" thing. Either visual effects are good, or the are bad.
Good effects are Lord of the rings and Advent Children. Bad effects are anything below that.

wow, I just saw this other Star Trek Next gen episode, and its amazing how many things that SG1 has ripped off.

This kid, dunno his name but he had the bridge sometimes, dark hair and eyes, even skin. He learned how to "step into another plane of existence". And to learn more about this, he gets help from "the traveler" who at first altered his shape and appearence.

Anyone seen this http://gateworld.net/news/2008/05/sci_f … prem.shtml
