Half season is equal to 12 episodes(numbers may differ for BSG). Only 7 have been aired yet.

Last episode before the break will be nr 10, it's the same for SG1, SGA and BSG.
All shows will have a midseason cliffhangers.
All 3 shows will return to Sci-Fi Channel sometime in January 2006.

But...
SG-1 S09E11 will air in UK's Sky One on 3rd of January 2006, next new episode each week from then.
There is a big chance that SGA S02E11-15 will air in November/December 2005 on Canadian The Movie Network and then S02E16-20 will air in January 2006.
No good news about next BSG eps being aired before USA premiere in January.

PS
Since the whole double finale thing on Sci-Fi Channel SGA S02E09 Aurora will first air in Canada on TMN.

So our schedule for September looks like this:

Stargate Atlantis - S02E09 - Aurora - 19-Sep-2005 (TMN Canada, not Sci-Fi Channel)

Stargate Atlantis - S02E10 - Lost Boys - 23-Sep-2005
Battlestar Galactica - S02E10 - Pegasus - 23-Sep-2005

there is only 20eps per series now!

so half is 10 eps

Interest in series drops with each new serie being aired. Once half season ahs been aired interest begins to raise again...then they air the other half season.

Just keeps ratings high and interest into the shows.
