sorry if this has been posted b4, have seen something called swap magic 3.3 advertised it say,s u do not need to mod ur ps2 to play back ups , how true is this , if so how does it work, modded my xbox over a year ago but don,t trust myself soldering so i left the ps2 well alone, thx

somebody point me in the right direction for a mod chip that will allow my xbox to play burnt dvd games...i'm looking for one where i don't have to solder anything, and at a relatively reasonable price

Edit- hmm, i looked around and i think most of the mod chips for my xbox require soldering which sucks, they have adapters for 30 bucks so i guess i'd have to dish out $$$ for em....my xbox was made on 09/19/2004 so that would make it a version 1.6 right, seeing that it's the latest one out...how would i know for sure?

I've been having this problem with XBMC for just a couple of days and never seen it before.
I'm getting "Unable to FF/RW in this stream" when i try to FF/RW newer XviD-releases (Ex.: Scrubs.S04E20.PDTV.XviD-LOL, The.Office.US.S01E01.HDTV.XviD-LOL, South.Park.S09E03.DSR.XviD-LOKi)
Most of the times the video stops after aprox five minutes.
The same videos works fine i VLC-player.

Anyone else experienced this problem?
Is my connection acting up in some way and creating gaps in the index or something?

Just downloaded and burned Iron Pheonix, when install on the HD and then go to play it I get a dirty disk error, this has happened a couple of times with other games as well, any ideas? I haveburnt them twice each time just incase it was a bad dvd.

Sorry poeple not sure if this is the right place but Ive got a bit of a problem with Red Ninja End of Honor when extracting the files to ISO. WinRar thinks all the files are just 1% of the whole and keeps asking me if i want to replace existing files??? Then when i burn it, the game starts to the 'all rights reserved' page and doesnt go any further anyone got any ideas??? Ive tried changing to NTSC and burning it to HD....please help??

i really want to buy an xbox, but in my country are offering an xbox with a virtual mod chip
how does that work is it good or should i buy one whit a physical chip

Hi guys, i'm PC man, but it isn't my fault-i can't use joystick.
And now i saw comed out Keyboard and Mouse Adapter for PS2 named
SMART JOY. Here you go you will tell me, yes-thanks but it cost $30 which
i think is TOO MUCH for adapter.(also for XboX and.....)
It shows nothing speciphic, but am not PRO.
Maube someone knows how to make it by ourself, custom, it's possible?

I am guessing that it is either a TSOP flash or softmod. They are ways of modding the xbox without using a chip. They are fine if they are done properly. What country are you in?

thankx for the reply i did some research and find another guy that sell chipped xbox not soft modded
i think i'm gonna buy it btw i live in Guatemala, Central America

That is really up to you. I love my xbox because it allows me to play all the games and various movie formats from here. There is alot more that you can do with a modded xbox as compared to a modded PS2.

Yes you need to chip it, that's the main reason for chipping it really.

You cannot do it through Evox, you need to use XBMC.
