Hi I just chipped my playstation 2 so I can play burned games on it. But I'm a noob, and dont know anything how to burn and what programs I need to use.
Can anybody describe step for step with detalies how to burn into DVD. Start from the begining when I download the game from torrentbytes. I'll be very glad if anyone helped me.

Most of the times (if not always) the games are compressed to small rar-files which you will have to download WinRAR to open, then just click on the first .rar file in that folder and in a moment a new window should popup with all the rar files in that folder combined into an iso file, just extract that big iso file to an empty folder
download DVD Decrypter burn the iso with a GOOD cd, YES a good cd like verbatim
or else you will experience bad frames and shit ingame put the disc in ps2 (Noway

?) and your ready to go !

Hi dude!

Saw that you live in Sweden too. I bought my xbox about 3 months ago, and got it chipped at chipstore (http://www.chipstore.se/store/). I've got the Duo X2 chip, and it works great with all games.

I recently bought a 120gb hdd and installed it myself (using superdisc, can be found on dc++ or the pirate bay). So I can really recommend the Duo X2 chip.

You need a couple of things to softmd a xbox - check out http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=94429 .

Install avalaunch as dashboard, start it up. Check that the xbox gets an ip adress (from your router, or if you don't have one, just set a static ip). Download qwix (http://www.teamavalaunch.com/qwix/), tell it what ip your xbox has, load your iso and click the "Ftp upload all" button.

Hello. You better use DVD-RW or CD-RW, In moust cases onelye RW-discs work
just buy a crossover-cable and just FTP it over to the Xbox`s HDD, then you don`t need dvd`s around the house.

Hi.

Ive just bought a Chipped Xbox, and just a few of my games are working.. like 4/25 games :/

Ive downloaded them here and i use Qwix to transfer them to my Hdd,

When i start the game its just rebooting itself.. (going to main menu) and i cant figur it out...

i dont know much whats in the xbox and so on.. so here comes some info abou it..

You may have to manually switch the region of the Xbox to PAL instead of NTSC if the majority of the games u have are PAL games. I myself do not have to do this as mine plays either automatically but i have heard of some ppl having to do it them selves. My machine is Softmodded tho, not chiped so i dont know if that would have anything to do with it or not. Hope this helps.

I am thinking of getting my ps2 (v2) modded. The only problem is i dont know anything about this stuff and believe me i searched on google. So plz help me. If i get this modchip installed, does that mean i can download a ps2 dvd iso from here, burn it on dvd -/+rw and the ps2 would be able to play it. Thank you.

Hey,
I got my ps2 chipped with a matrix infinity 1.75
I got a small problem. When i burn a game on a dvd-r at 12X. The game runs fine and all. But when i see a movie(cutscene) The voices aren't synchromed with the characters. I got this problem with all ps2 games i burned so far. Could it be because most games i burned are usa and my ps2 is pal? Has it something to do with 50 or 60 hrts? And what's the best way to burn a ps2 game? What speed and what type of dvd -r or +r?

often it shows in the movies. never thought of it with ps2, but with the xbox, it's just to choose pal-60 in the stup, which will get rid of the out of sync stuff..

I always burn my DVD-R @ MAX. Using Verbatim at the moment, never had a problem. Go with quality.

I agree with Verbatim. That's all i use since 2 yrs ago.

Verbatim + DVD Decrypter= :thumbsup:

(over 50 xbox iso's, not one failure)

I just wonder, I can I make my xbox boot in XBMC and not the dashboard??

*EDIT: One more question, can I DL real 720p HDTV movies/tv-shows and play them off on my xbox, and hock the xbox on to a HD-RADY plasma/LCD tv and get real 720p on my tv??

Damn I was disappointed. I tried watch:
CSI.Miami.S04E12.720p.HDTV.AC3.5.1.XviD-BamHD
Resolution: 1280 X 720
Audio.....: 384K 5.1 AC3 Untouched
from my xbox and it worked perfect!! But then I realize thats not "Real" HD(compressed), then I downloaded a HD-clip from microsoft.com, that did`t work sow good ;-( And I that thinked I could watch real HD from my xbox

do you have hd cables?

xbmc will upscale but i don't think that the xbox is powerful enough for true HD it'll lag

hey there

my friend bought a v10 ps2 with a matrix infinity chip. i burned two games for him on two dvd-rw's, but both don't work. should i try to burn them on dvd-r's instead? i got a few verbatims here

Hey. I just softmodded an xbox with 007. Ive done this to countless xboxs but I just came across a first.

I finished installing the mod and it said it was ok to restart the xbox. So I did. Now when i hit the power, the LED frashes on for a split second then off. I have to hit the power button a ton of times for it to finally turn on. And when it does, the LED is flashing green and red.

There is no video but I can pop the disc in and out. When I leave a disc in, I can head it read it but nothing happeneds.

Anyone have any ideas?
