I use my own webspace, so if it helps the site, im all for it.

I thought bitbucket was VERY convenient for a quick upload. Sites like photobucket always bitch at me when you have too many pictures. I had about 6-7 high(er) resolution pictues, like 1024x768 or less, and it told me I went over bandwidth and some shit like that. I didn't rely on bitbucket for all my pics, but like I said, if you wanted to upload a pic really quick for a certain thread or conversation, it was really convenient.

There are enough other places to host your image so I don't see a problem with it. Even if one of the free hosts don't have enough bandwith you should have some webspace from your internet provider you can use they usualy don't complain about bandwith unless you really go out of line.

I'm not happy about that decision. That was my first impression about this but on second thoughts: If it helps the site, it should be done. There are many other places where you can host your images. So you could say I changed my mind!

I miss it really much. Looking on older posts in the forums and many (before) cool profiles is just rubbish now. I would hope you would find some other way to save bandwith, but this is probably the most bandwith-stealing resource...
