I'm having trouble with TB notify...no pop ups and no sound when new torrents arive...:-(

if you have only just installed TBnotify, then please post a screenshot of your filters.

if you have been using TBNotify for sometime, with success, but have found that torrent notifications have stopped then you will need to run this registry patch.

a change occurred last week that may have affected some users, resulting in no more torrent notifications. run the reg file to correct this.

do you have write permission to the directory you download torrents to? have you deleted the directory?

Everything was working O.K before but now when I try to do a search torrents or let tbnotify's internal downloader do it's stuff it keeps comming back with errors saying that "Download failed.Your torrent database could not be created."

tbnotify still cecks and downloads if it's using ie though. Tried deleting everything and reiinstalling. Also have not put any extra filters in since it was working fine.

I looked through the help and all previous posts and could not see anything that had the same problem...

   Any ideas?

EDIT: Sorted

I have some filters like "lost" in tv/xvid = download but because I don't want the "hr" version which is much larger I have the filter "hr hdtv" in all = ignore but it downloaded lost with hr anyway!

What do I have to write to make it work correctly?

Thanks to a superprog....

read the help guide?

probably because you placed your ignore filter below your download one. its all in the help guide.

what client are you using? have you got "auto load torrents from specific directory" enabled? (if such a feature exists)

Hi, I was just wondering why the TBNotify tray icon turns brown after a while, couldn't find anything on the forums about it, as it seems strange...

but you said it crashed when trying to download a torrent from the Search feature. is it not still doing this? does it do it all the time when searching (and with every torrent)?

and do you have a feature similar to "auto load torrents from specific directory" enabled in bitcomet? some clients have it.

i meant, when i using search or notify by filter it crashes.
but when i tried to set download filter it works...
and no, i think bitcomet doesn't  have this feature.
