Due a lot of questions that always arise from people wanting to convert NTSC<->PAL with menus / extras / DTS I have written a new guide from scratch to detail how to go about it.
This guide is not really for noobies but you should find it detailed enough to just follow it through step by step.
I know a lot of people don't want to go through this whole process - but sometimes it's the only way.
To date you'll not find another guide on ANYWHERE describing how to do NTSC<->PAL DVD conversions with menus.
EDIT: Can I use CCE Encoder SP v2.67.00.27 rather than the newer version, will it work?
Regards,
diE
You certanly can. Although I find CCE 2.70 works a liitle better with NuMenu4u and doesn't keep asking you to press OK. The main reason I used 2.70 was because it has 3:2 pulldown built into it so you don't need to use another app to flag a 23.976 fps NTSC MPEG stream as 3:2 pulldown which is handy for PAL->NTSC.
Personally Iuse both 2.67 and 2.70 depending on what app I am using - so long as you install them inti differenet directories there are no problems.

Yup really nice guide, but jeez i didn't know I needed that many apps.
I have so many apps for this already so i'm trying not to fill up my computer with lot of aps that does exactly the same.
Do you know if I can use Vobedit after the demuxing instead of ac3 delay corrector? Or will I get that problem in the authoring part you talked about?
I don't think VOBEdit can cut ms from the start of AC3 - but I'm not sure - you can always manually set the delay in Scenarist if you don't want to bother with that step.
